  • If your toilet is hissing AND the tank is overfilling, your fill valve needs replacing. If your toilet is hissing, but the water level is normal or low, you likely have a leaking flapper -- or worse.

I gotta comment my experience with my toilet tank. I replaced my valve as you showed in this video, adjusting the water level at the "tank water level " line.Well my valve didn't shut itself off for some reason (6 mo later) so the water was running out the flusher handle hole in the side of the tank and all over the floor. To correct this, after I reajusted the valve and then I cut off the overflow pipe that sticks up in the middle of the tank to be lower than the "tank water level" ,which in my case is the level of the hole for the handle. This tube was about 3/4" too tall in my toilet. I really like the oil burning Corolla series you are doing & cant wait for the next video. I would like to know what caused the oil control rings to be stuck in the pistons.

Why is the Corolla burning up so much oil? Running too hot and it's vaporizing?-(Need an Oil Cooler or Oil vapor condenser and/or trap maybe?) Coolant problem?-(clogged maybe, thermostat too high?, bad airflow through the rad, all and possibly more?) Carbon buildup under the oil rings still? Scoring did too much damage?

That's what I wanna know also. It won't hurt to run a diesel oil, Shell rotella T6 5w-40, I run that in my Lexus IS300 without zero issues so far.
