    Sean having a issue...pulled m17 out to run some rds. Got off 8 rds. 4 riot,4 hp68. No problem. We'll safety swith sticks can't move it. Drop magwell and trigger assembly. Put all back together and no fire air empty from bottle. After awhile I switch to modified stock reg from Hd24 reg and spring. Now at factory spring and modified factory reg works fine. Ho back HD24 set up. Air rushes outta bottle when fired. Tried hd24 spring modified reg and same issue. So now back yo stock spring and modified reg. Can't figure HD24 set up just empty bottle on fire

      Depending on the pressure you decide to run i have found this may not be necessary anymore.

    Which parts in the assembly allow full auto? Im in the UK and my trigger assembly internals are exact same as yours, only difference is I have a couple of Phillips head screws externally on either side of the housing next to the selector switch, when I remove those it allows me to select full auto but still fires in semi 🤔

      You probably need the two full auto pins. You can get them at HomeDefence-24 now.

    What other objects/ or size screw can I use to insert into the spring?
    Thanks!

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  11 місяців тому +1

      Anything you heart desires really. A few washers are probably the easiest just dont want them to be sloppy or too big an outside diameter. Maybe a machine screw nut since they are low profile.

    What is the size of the hex screw primarily used? I have the one that came with the marker that works but I need an exact same one to twist both sides off at the same time. Having a hard time finding the exact size
    It's a little larger than 3/32 and little smaller than 7/64 I believe

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  2 роки тому

      The m17 uses metric threaded fasteners. The two primary sizes are 3mm and 4mm. Hope that helps.

      @@lesslethalfordummies thank you, i'm purchasing now. Was wondering if you knew if the one inside the handle of m17 that requires a long allen key to insert in deep is the 3mm or the 4mm to remove the handle?

    Ya been gone for a minute. If you see this have? Shim the sear but found a tiny...tiny o ring on mat. Can't figure where goes.

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  Рік тому +1

      There are no orings in the trigger group. Did you by chance recently do the prv delete? That is where you would find one of the smallest orings in the marker.

    • @jerryhoneycutt745
      @jerryhoneycutt745 Рік тому +1

      Yeah i x rayed your video and saw no ace for o ring. Its so small interior diameter of o ring sludes right over those chrome pins inside. That how small. Actually can not find a o ring that small anywhere on that marker. You the man...any ideas or maybe a foreign o ring from something else.

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  Рік тому +1

      It could be something foreign maybe from factory assembly. The absolute smallest oring on the m17 is found inside the prv on the tip of the brass stem.

    • @jerryhoneycutt745
      @jerryhoneycutt745 Рік тому +1

      @@lesslethalfordummies yeah maybe...its a hair bigger than prv o ring..pretty close size as washers that connect reg to receiver with cotter pins Thx Sean as always you the man. Ty

      So long as your marker is functioning i would just toss the extra oring in the parts bin.

    What is the point of this shim mod?? Is it necessary if you're doing the other mods to support the extra power?

    • @lesslethalfordummies
      @lesslethalfordummies  Рік тому

      Shim mod is necessary if you are running 1100psi. I havent needed anything yet running 800psi.

      Shawn, I'm resisting you m17 mods. I'm just up my output to 1000. So, is this mod needed? I do not plan on raising up to 1100. Thanks again for all your vids.

    • @lesslethalfordummies

      @jrhjrh9372 no, not if you are not having any malfunctions. First upgrade if any is bolt spring. The trigger group is t as important.

      The shim will not stop autofire. You need a better bolt spring or just reinstall the brass orfice
