Giri: "I'll do all I can to make sure I draw every single game"

I love how much they appreciate the other players. No one is ragging on another and when asked about the others you can tell they respect their playing strength.

I was just imagining everyone to say "naah, London is just not fun to play" and "I would rather play at home than in London". Would have been great fun :D

Talk about making me feel old. I remember when Vishy first entered the scene and Kramnik was a 16 year old with Kasparov talking him up. I remember talking to GM Ian Rogers about what it was like playing Vishy. He found it daunting when the guy would complete all his moves in 30 minutes in a 90 minute time control.

"Let's go with Faby" lol Vishy really doesn't want to be the only guy who's name is shortened.

What about Veselin? Why Maurice didn't interview him? Because of Vlad veto?

He said that if he would become 1st place in the tournament he would not care at all about who would be the 2nd place.

Wei Yi the Chinese 16 year old chess prodigy will beat all of these guys in a few years and he will be the next world champion.
