After these vids though? You got me full ready to witness Zack and Julian's tentative romance blossom and still be entertaining but much more healthy and mature this time around! Like I sincerely enjoy some of author's descriptions BUT that virginity debacle ain't it... And heaven forbid live action doesn't get actors that look like carbon copies of your characters, I'll boycott 🚫 You've done a phenomenal job in making these series, not a single dull moment 👍 Hilarious script narrated beautifully with text excerpts and visuals - even that cave scene had water slowly rise throughout it! I read this one first when I was a kid not realizing it was part of a trilogy, and it's still my favorite. Watching your first two videos recently made me realize though that Julian has influenced 100% of the fictional characters I've crushed on ever since like he is the BLUEPRINT. Most influential book of my childhood apparently.

Watching your friend not only fall in love with the guy who has mentally and physically tormented you for the better part of a trilogy, but ALSO stalls right before the exit FOR THIS DUDE until you get jumped by said dude's decrepit, stinky relatives. AND THEN, after all that RIGAMAROLE, Jenny says, "BTW, I forgive you for what you did to us :,)" Let's just say that Dell and Mollusk wouldn't be the only missing kids at the end of this series.
There is a *lot* of casual cheating in these books. Plus she so easily forgets that he murdered one of her best friends, S.A'd her, kidnapped, attacked, and traumatized her and her friends, tortured them with illusory flames, but then she's like... "But I have a Sephiroth kink! MUST SNOG EMO MONSTER!".
Please o please do this for more of LJ Smith's works. I reread the Secret Circle and Night World series recently and I think they hold up better than the nonsense that is Forbidden Game... but now I really want to see them through the eyes of Grimmelle and her favorite dollmaker.
