I thought that was hilarious...😂 that seen was right after Eddie Murphy s character killed the new warden when he discovered he set him up...the watch was the key to scene.
I've seen this movie, I can't even say how many times. It is so sad. I was watching it last month, and for the first time, I cried. Starting from where Biscuit died. As funny as this movie is, it it's heartbreaking at the same time. 62 years. Bomb ass soundtrack, too!!
🔴Just the part when they shot ole boy and when they all start dying and fading away with that sad song playing, other than that it was funny the whole time.
well there is a reason Eddie was so huge at that time, if he was a jerk off camera he wouldn't have been. Pretty sure that talent at comedy and greatness didn't stop when the camera stopped.
Absolutely brilliant movie. I watch this every so often and never get tired of it. Such a brilliant and touching story. Well cast with a great plot. Never watched a film that is so funny and so sad. Couldn't agree more, such an underrated movie.

Because even though it was a comedy....alot of truth was behind the story because it happened to too many black men of that era...at least the ones that weren't just shot & killed or lynched

@justinv6410 He left stand-up at the height of his game. It's a lot to live up to. He was unfiltered and fearless. Things have to be right and in comedic alignment if he returns.
