thats what it was!! i was so confused about this game, i heard that they tried to make vr into 2d and i was completely confused. what i remember seeing was unrecord for sure. unrecord is going to be a much, much better game this. this will be the arcade, easy acess version. with a high likely hood of doing okay. however unrecord is going to be used by not only us, but literally any police dept or military for hyper specific training. meanwhile this game is stuck being a weird ass 2d version

This is awesome? I love how streamlined the gameplay is.
This is one of those games that's a cool concept and will probably be played for a few months, but then it'll just die off completely after the novelty wears off.
It also seems like one of those games that'd be really fun to watch someone play, but not nearly as fun to actually play yourself.
Oh, and you need a top-end PC to even run the game, so that alone will make it inaccessible to the majority of people.

Everything in this game seems great except the player controller, what the hell is this terrible drunk person gameplay. I think that if you found a way to make this run well in vr we'd have a top tier vr game on our hands.

6:49 I feel like the future of FPS games will be mostly in VR, but with a level of graphics that makes it so it's nearly indistinguishable from real life visually.
Pair that with one of those treadmills that makes it so you control yourself by actually moving and it will be like you're in an actual war zone in your own living room.
Honestly at the rate we're going currently, I think we're only 10 or 20 years off of VR tech getting to those levels, and another 10 years after that the tech will be affordable for your average person.
Within the next 50 years we could have a world like Ready Player One where most people practically live in VR because the real world is bleak in comparison. That's pretty crazy.

Games like this need more attention. Not only using latest ue5 tech but just the gunplay and cam view and kinda trend setting. I can see this style of fps taking over and bringing back DM/TDM/CTF games like we used to play. Im tired of BR and extraction shooters. Sure the modes are as old as Quake but at least we get varying gameplay.
