The Philippine government should purchase hundreds of farm machines for the different regions of the country. Allow private farmers free rent of these machines for the first 5 years so that farm expansion and productivity will pick up business and profits. After such time, moderate rental fees can be charged so return-on-investment and maintenance of these machines can be recouped. This will allow the country not just to be self-sufficient, have large excesses for export.
