I'm 70, still working 12 hour shifts on progressive care unit. Sick patients. Been taking care of seriously ill covid patients from get go. Had positive covid test Feb.3, 2022. Felt like I was weak, but went back to work for two eight hour shifts. Too weak. No endurance. Now I'm fighting severe fatigue, intermittent dizziness, short of air with minimal exertion, and some occasional palpitations. Insomnia at night. I'm sooo frustrated. Before covid only took vitamins, minerals. No preexisting conditions. Must get back to work to survive financially. Appreciate the testimonies. Believe in prayer too. May all covid patients recover 100%, and grow stronger and healthier day by day. GOD BLESS ALL

70 year old is a preexisting condition in addition to anything you didn't know about but the virus knew. I'm 66 and had covid a few weeks before you. Luckily I stockpiled IVM tablets and was able to take it from day one, still, I was sick as a dog for two weeks. In hindsight, I should have started with .6mg/kg instead of .4mg/kg. I also thought that I had no preexisting conditions, but the virus doesn't care and attacked any weaknesses. Thus, higher dosage of IVM was needed for me. Right now I'm on long covid protocol: Horse paste, 325mg Aspirin, 50mg Benadryl, Mucinex (if coughing), supplements. The virus overwhelmed your immune system and you need anti-viral drugs such as IVM. I'll do my long covid protocol for 3 months and evaluate. Dr. McCullough recommended aspirin to prevent blood clots. Don't follow the CRIMINAL "do nothing" protocol that the medical establishment has put in place. You can easily find people with long covid from Mar 2020 because they have followed the medical establishment and never got a hold of IVM. Horse paste works fine, my horse finished 4 tubes, no problem. IVM saved me from hospitalization and basically my life.

I am 39 and in the same boat. I was refused proper healthcare by the Whitehorse Yukon Hospital. Twice since January 2022. I had a medical clinic hang up on me when requesting a sleep aid to help with my Covid19 symptoms. The excruciating pain which prevents sleep at times. I wanted to tell you this so you know you are not alone. I am sorry this happened to all of us infected and affected. Thank you for your strong words. May God help us who genuinely need help. Take care.

I am 69, got bad Covid March 2020 and just couldn’t get myself back. I already had stamina and depression and brain fog problems from thyroid and Hashimoto’s disease, but this long Covid was the worst. Most days I couldn’t do more than get to bathroom and go back to bed. It went on for almost two years and didn’t seem like it would ever get better.
Other things happened, I fell and broke my back, had an infarction in my optic nerve and lost most of my sight in that eye, gained weight and felt helpless and hopeless.
In 2022 I slowly began to notice that I could do more than I could the week before, and could think a bit more clearly. I tried not to feel guilty for being exhausted all the time and kept reminding myself that I was (marginally) better than I was a month ago. I stopped eating sugar, processed food, etc, and started sleeping better.
I am writing this to say that now, in May 2022, I am able to get up and do about 3 hours work most days. At first my whole body hurt, I was dizzy, blue, discouraged and felt utterly useless. But now I look back to how it was a year ago and I realize that I have come very far in my healing. I don’t think I will ever be how I was pre-Covid, but who is? I am grateful for all that I have learned from this experience.
The road out of long Covid is long and difficult and exhausting, but I think we long haulers will get better. Don’t give up, it takes time and works differently for each person, but I pray that we all can heal and accept where we are now. We ARE Covid Warriors and are stronger than we feel. ❤️

I got COVID in December of 2020. It knocked me out for a full month, and recovery was hell. It's been almost 14 months and still go to a lung specialist on regular intervals. I have slight relapses once in a while, and have developed allergies that did not have before. Sometimes the joint and muscle pain is unbelievable, but have learned to leave with it along with the sudden exhaustion. Thank you for your video, it reminds me that there is someone out there who understands me. Hang in there, we will get through this! After all we are all survivors, and nothing is going to keep us down.

My heart goes out to you, I see more and more posts about long covid, I am 63 and and it took a month and a half for me to recover from the main covid. I drove to the doctor to get the antibody injection after testing positive for covid. While sitting in he wheel chair and the nurses were prepping to give me the infusion. They turned to me and asked how I was doing? They then tested my o2 levels several times and it was going down each time. I was not looking good. They called the ER to be ready to receive me. My loving wife came and drove me to the ER. Six and a half hours later I went home. It turned out that I had developed an secondary infection. Pneumonia had set into my left lung. They put me on very strong stuff that wiped me out but the pneumonia was finally cured. I was walking 2 miles a day before covid. I even tried going back to work once and could not keep up with my coworkers just walking between building. They looked back at me and asked me if I was going to pass out. I just said "lay me in the grass tell I wake up". My department director told me to go home. I got a email from Human resources to stay home until I feel better. They will work something out. That was almost a year ago. I have returned to walking 2 miles a day and sometimes even more. But out of the blue I can wake up and have nothing to walk with. It was like I did not get enough sleep. Sleeping longer helps, naps help, but like today my body just does not want to move. I pray and hope you keep getting better.

I started down the path of long covid... I took two supplements NMN 100mg and Transreservatol 1000mg daily . This has saved my life. Energy came back, brain fog disappeared. It was a miracle. These are now being trialed in hospital covid patients. I bought powered Gene product. Mix with yogurt or olive oil to take it. It needs fats to be absorbed!! These two supplements are from Dr David Sinclair the Harvard genetics professor... studying anti-aging. Check him out in You Tube...write book Lifespan. These two supplements repair your genes and keep them intack. Covid destroys them. Good luck

Such an amazing story I'm so glad I watched it. I too suffer from long covid. It's been a year now. It's been the worst year of my life. I've seen two neurologists and one told me I have Parkinson's features. My movement disorder specialist does not think I have Parkinson's disease. But I have symptoms of covid Long hauler and and I've never had covid-19 positive test. All the symptoms popped up 4 days after my second vaccine. The worst is the brain fog. I am actually disabled because of that. Hopefully I can get some better advice on my PCP about treatment plan if any. Right now I'm going through depression and anxiety like you wouldn't believe. I Have good days and I have bad days. I do have hope. That's all I have left. Thanks for letting me share my story. Be well.

Sending good thoughts and healing your way! Please do not give up hope! You will find a therapist or specialist who will be able to help you! Here's my story: I never tested positive for the virus either and had two vaccinations and two booster shots. Despite doing all that, I wound up going to the ER three separate times in 2021 after experiencing a SEVERE, pins and needles sensation from my neck to the base of my spine. This feeling was with me 24/7, week-after-week, and left me unable to sleep for four weeks! Finally, a doctor put me on Gabapentin (100 mgs 3 times daily) and a sleeping pill. Gabapentin helps with anxiety and you can take it for a longer period of time than any of the popular anti-anxiety drugs because it is not addictive. It took another three-to-four weeks for the Gabapentin to finally work, but it's 2023 and now I feel like me old self again! Very soon, you will too!
One suggestion: start taking two, Tart Cherry Extract capsules every night for about two months. This dietary supplement will help calm you down and prevents inflammation from wreaking havoc in you system. (You must take tart cherry extract at night because it makes you sleepy, which is why it's often used by insomniacs like me.) Before you start taking this dietary supplement, please check with your primary care doctor first to make sure he or she has no objections with it possibly interfering with any of the prescription medications that you are already taking. Good luck, my friend!

When my Covid entered the 3rd week I developed Chronic Venous Insufficiency resulting in ulcer and chronic venous reflux. After 16 surgeries to remove damaged veins in my legs I still have trouble walking without pain due to poor blood circulation. My upper body is riddled with muscle and joint pain to the extent that I can not drive a car or use the keyboard on my computer easily. And certainly severe fatigue. My vascular surgeons are planning new tests and I will seek medical attention concerning my Covid Long Symptoms and the problems I am having with blood circulation - that I suspect is micro Blood Clots in origin.

@@jeffreyhunter4515 I swear I have actually FELT this virus move around my body and yes it definitely lays dormant and becomes reactivated. I felt it when it entered my brain and eye like it’s some kind of bug! Gross.
I knew from there that was gonna be the bad point because your brain and eyes are protected areas of your body where viruses hide because those areas are exempt from the usual way that your body fights wars with pathogens to protect those areas from harm.
Then I felt it another time when it came down from my brain and entered my veins again because I felt like my veins were burning.
Then I felt it again just last week in the form of a sore throat.
You can feel this virus so it’s definitely a persistent virus unfortunately like Ebola.
I wish the doctors cared more about our lives to be quite frank because I need a lot of different tests, we all do, one in particular is to see if there are any reactivated viruses our bodies are also fighting off so we can receive anti virals for those. Apparently Covid uses up so many Tcells that the other viruses we have previously had can become reactivated because the Tcells are usually what keeps them dormant and in check.
We will never get well if our bodies are constantly fighting multiple viruses inflammation and trying to heal all the damage Covid did internally at the same time.
The doctors are so slow with everything while people are suffering. ☹
Also I know I type a lot but there’s a lot to say about Long Covid.

Have your vitamin levels checked and actually look at the numbers yourself and see if you are on the very low side. You may need B12 injections like some others, The doctors will tell you you are fine because you are technically within range even if you are just above being deficient.
Also don’t push yourself because if this is like ME/CFS you can end up bed bound being fed through a tube if you push too hard.

They're instructed to blame everything on Anxiety disorder and send you home. Since, they don't have the cure or if they do you're not going to be on the receiving end. I can tell you from personal experience. When I went to ER first time ever in my life back in April 2021, before they even checked my blood work and chest x-ray, some random dude came out of no where and started to give me lecture on anxiety and refused to listen to my side of the story. I walked in with a severe shortness of breath with a resting heart rate of 150bpm.
The second time I went early this year, that same dude came in and told me to exercise even with a 200bpm heart rate. This idiot never experienced abnormally high resting heart rate so he doesn't understand that when someone is experiencing a 150+bpm resting heart rate, he/she will not going to be able to exercise or even walk. You would feel dizzy and you would want to sit down or lay down for the heart to slow down. Hell..you can get a heart attack or cardiac arrest if you attempt to exercise with a resting heart rate of 150+bpm or 200bpm. You would have to be crazy person to exercise with a 200bpm resting heart rate.
Good thing I never followed his advice. I went home looked at my blood work and discovered that I have high CPK blood levels. Which indicates possible heart muscle injury. Also, I had abnormal Neutrophils and Lymphocytes levels. Which indicates an infection in my body. Although the chest x-ray from the ER didn't show anything other than mild hyper inflated lungs, I knew my lungs weren't working at full capacity due to my severe shortness of breath. So, I saw a pulmonologist on my own and did a chest CT. Which revealed multiple pulmonary lung nodules. I never had any pre existing conditions and was never a smoker. Just a relatively healthy 26 year old. These lung nodules are usually seen in people smoking for 20 to 30+ years later. A 26 year old should not be having these nodules.
My primary care thinks that these lung nodules appeared as a result of Cov!d. He mentioned that one of his patient apparently died from Cov!d and after autopsy they saw these lung nodules. Every doctor I went to had the surprise look on their face when I show them my chest CT scan report. From their experience they don't encounter these in a 26 year old patient.

The thing is doctors insist that my breathing issue is caused by anxiety disorder but when they checked my heart they said I have MPV(Mitral Valve Prolapse) and both Mitral and Tricupidal regurgitations.
Also, when I did my pulmonary function test they said I have mild obstruction and asthma. My pulmonologist is just as confused as I was since based on the pulmonary function test I have about 50% lung capacity. Terrible lung function but I don't have the classical wheezing sounds of someone with asthma.
I've been dealing with this issue for almost a year now. My guess is, Cov!d damaged my heart and lungs. And this resulted in abnormal pulse rate, shortness of breath and all the other symptoms (ie: fatigue , dizziness, headaches, chills, anxiety, depression, etc.) Because of these issues I can no longer work, workout or do the usual activities. A lot of young people died from this or if survived are dealing with these issues. Being young and healthy didn't do jack shit after catching this virus. This is more than anyone can bear... but we will and have to persevere and not lose hope.

I was already in diagnosis hell for neuromuscular disease when got covid when they wouldn't test for it. Had all the symptoms and did oxygen with bipap 14 hrs a day at home only hitting 91. Was scary for a month. Took 8 mos to begin to be a bit better. Did solitaire on computer to monitor cognition, prior was 3:41 to win, after was 11:30 but most times it hurt to think. Couldn't think to spell or manage to type for 8 mos. Since HR fluctuated 48-120 irrespective of activity fall risk went to high so used cane and focused on good hydration. Did drop spinning of alpaca fleece to calm anxiety (very soft touch, repetitive, productive, can be stopped and started easily) as could n'tfollow knitting patterns even though knitted for 50 yrs. Only now is long covid being recognized at all. I wish it weren't so but this level of medical indifference is what women who are dealing with neuromuscular diseases experience all the time.

Hey Shelby, my heart goes out to you. I’ve had my Long Covid since January 2020, I’ve had all the symptoms you list plus I’ve just had all my teeth out as a large number of them were becoming loose, two had already fallen out in 2020. The biggest issue for me is friends and family Oh and medical professionals, that do not understand or believe the severity of the situation. Hopefully one day we can return to our pre-Covid fitness!

The article suggested that antioxidant compounds eg luteolin, may help to prevent the harmful effects of spike proteins. Hope you'll recover. Hang in there.
