      Thank you for this nice, kind comment. Not sure you can always take it as "Gospel" because sometimes there's alternative views or opinions, but we try to provide good, down to earth, honest, practical information based on a lifetime of experience. It may not be always be totally correct but it is offered with sincerity and a spirit of sharing so it is good to know that it is appreciated.

    Thanks for the Video...When is the best time to prune to help the tree resist disease?

    • @OverdevestNurseries
      @OverdevestNurseries  4 місяці тому +1

      Thank you, there isn't really a way to help it resist diseases by pruning, except for removing any dead, damaged or diseased foliage and making sure to clean up and clean away the debris. The main thing is good tool hygiene, i.e. regularly clean your tools, wipe down the blades with alcohol and clean with soap and water before putting them away etc. That helps to prevent spreading diseases.
      Good culture and starting off with healthy, well grown plants (from a reputable source) is also important, because a sickly plant (especially with conifers) can introduce soil borne diseases that can be deadly to existing specimens.
      We hope this helps.

    May I suggest you guys use a newer camera to record these videos? The current video quality makes it look like a video made 15 years ago 😂😂😂
