At the very beginning of this video I saw at least two hats flying in the air. I fond that funny. And that old Daytona Charger looks badass as hell. And I know this track, it's Great lakes dragway, Union Grove Wis. My home track.
When these cars came out, my friends and I always referred to that thing on the back of these cars as an ironing board.. I know where there’s one of these cars with that ironing board on the back sitting in a garage for the last 30 years collecting dust in mt oliver , A suburb of Pittsburgh, just on top of the hill from the very popular Southside
I love Door Slammers more than any other form of drag racing, but it seems to be a "sea of Camaro's" competing. It's nice when somebody changes the script and goes a whole different route like the Daytona or the Fury. Who would have thought that the Daytona would make a better looking door slammer than a stock car?
Theres a full steel body '67 impala, a '69 full steel Nova. 69 dodge daytona. 70 plymouth superbird. 04 mustang. 57 chevy belair. 67 mercury cougar. Theres maybe 5 camaros. They're all different cars
That left lane needs to be fixed. Every car that goes down it about 100' out there's some kinda hump in the track that keeps kicking the cars sideways and causing tires to lose tracking. Haven't seen one comment on how horrible that bump is in the left lane.
There was only one clean pass in this video. Thats pretty crazy to see just 1 clean pass with nobody lifting or tires breaking grip and spinning the tires or mechanical failure. Just one
