Hi I have one of these units. Do you know if there is a case , enclosure available. Have you also cut the unit in half so keypad is separate. Looks as if it can be done. Cheers from old George
Dear Jaynes, Thanks for the Video. I checked on the given link, but it is showing currently unavailable. Could you please refer me some other website. One more question, is it reliable source because I need it for the characterization of amplifiers.
I just updated the link.. the other supplier must have sold out?? Try it again.. (new link in video description).. Thanks! It seems to be reliable.. I have been testing it with some other devices.. such as my RF power meter.. (see my RF power meter video) and I am planning to do some more testing with my Bird Power meter..that will be interesting! More to come soon.. ua-cam.com/video/Jq0VMuIgJA8/v-deo.html RF sig-gen amzn.to/3rvAd3B
yo bro i got a question, when an article says '30 Mhz kills viruses' what equipment would you recommend i get to produce that frequency if you happen to know, thanks
It would have to be something very high power probably.. like a high frequency flyback circuit with a air core resonator coil.. I have made videos on several high power devices like this.. look in the high voltage and electronics play lists.. This is in the HF range.. so a high power ham radio transmitter would probably work.. do you have a link to the article that talk about this?? I can try to look at it?? Thanks!
Hi if you hold down the ++ button it scans up. If you hold down the -- button it scans down. By the 1k or 10k, 1M setting steps. Keyboard part can be separated as my Video. Cheers from George in the UK
Thank you for making the video. It showed that my unit wasn't working correctly. But I would like to give some constructive criticism. Watching you learn how to use the device was very irritating. Maybe you could have spent 15 minutes before learning how to use it. And the fan noise is also unpleasant. If you could have focused more on putting in signals and showing the output it would have been more helpful.
Thanks for this demo. Can this unit's generated frequency be recorded on a phone or laptop music app?

Can the output level adjusted
So you think this unit will do the trick for AM, FM Radio alignment?
This generator is above the AM band.. 540 kHz-1.7 MHz.. but does cover the FM band of 88-108 MHz.. hope this helps! Thanks for the great comments!

External modulation?
What is the name of this??
Can this signal generator be put into a frequency sweep mode?
Yes it can scan.

Am I the only one that finds the fact the display says "millihertz" (mHz) rather than "megahertz" (MHz) disturbing?

You need a new fan
Yep, fan is very noisy - very distracting to your video.
