I needed this, this is exactly what happened to me, I fell once, and I did hurt my neck sent me for a loop, ever since then that's when fear came in. I learned from previous videos of yours some hints. Now I know more, great!
This is dangerous. Most people don't know how to do a bridge position with their back, much less land on a bridge position after falling from a handstand. Please, people, practice on a wall while learning the handstand. These exercises are aimed at people who already have a lot of balance and flexibility.
+Yoga by Candace Hey so im a tall skinny man im about 6'5" 180lbs and this kind of yoga is extremely challenging, any advice or ways i can build enough strength so i can do a headstand?
A wonderful video! :) I've found my way out of those poses through practice, so I just keep rolling out of my forearmstand, cartwheel out of handstand, ... and so on. And I think it's really weird that I've always found straight headstands/forearmstands/handstands easier than those with my legs in another position?! :D But then again, it just shows that every body is different. Have a great day! :)
This is really helpful, I've just recently started (with your help!) practicing forearm stand and am scared to move away from the wall. The only difference for me is that I keep my knees bent, will that make it harder to get into or is it the same basic idea?
+keeptheareaclear Knees bent I think makes things harder because the legs aren't engaged and therefore kind of more wobbly than usual. Try straightening the leg and spreading the toes. It will feel scary at first but I think it offers more control.
Thank you for this video! For the tripod headstand I have trouble getting into the actual pose because I keep feeling pain against my head, do I need to keep most of the weight in my arms? Also which area of the head is pressing against the mat? thank you and I love your videos
+WhenAsiansRise We want to avoid that as much as possible! We want about 80% of the weight in the hands and just a little in the head. Start like this - place your hand against your face lining up where your palm starts to your eyebrows. Then, put your hand down and where the tip of your middle finger is, that's what you want to place down on the mat. It's essentially the crown of you head but that's an easy way to find it :)

yes... if you have flexibility on your back lol, otherwise you'll fall flat. you could do one for people who don't. like, how to roll over safely....
I fell from forearm headstand and now my foot hurts like hell for 2 days in a row. I should have watched this before trying to do that headstand
