This is the sort of green that just always makes me feel happy when I wear it. The little squirrel is currently trying to chase around the larger grey and black squirrels to mixed success.
Oooo, polish science! I love how this actually looks like soda, especially inside. The holo outside looks lovely though. Also, I know cirque gets a lot of side eye for their price and their manipulation of swatch photos, but their formula has been the easiest for me to work with so far (with the wide brushes). I feel like it glides on like a dream. The baby's cute! I hope it can grow up before winter really hits.
I like Cirque's formula just because I always prefer a polish just a little on the thin side. Holo Taco and Wildflower feel very thick to me. They still go on well, just not my preference for viscosity. The squirrels are already growing their fluffy winter coats so they all look like plump plushies right now. I think the baby is already trying to vie for territory so I think he'll be alright.
@@LurkingLacquer Yes, it's thinner, and it's self leveling, but it somehow feels plump on my nail instead of thin. It makes the application process feel easy. I tried HT and it wasn't really for me. The thickness just didn't feel good (though I'm willing to work with it a bit more), and the sparkliness just isn't for me either (I say as I wait anxiously for my sparkly-as-hell Lurid Lacquer order. Sometimes I don't make sense to myself.)
Internal consistency is definitely a detriment to a polish hobbyist. I suffer the exact same brain disease. If there is anything I don't like in the polish, I pass it up. Sometimes, I pass on an otherwise great polish because the flakes move to a colour I don't like. Even if it only moves to that colour very infrequently. It makes me feel a little crazy when I can't understand why I do or don't like a polish. I might as well be burning bits of fat on a brazier for the Olympians, hoping for the gods to fill me in, when I try to make sense of this phenomenon.
It looks pretty either way... The squirrel is cute!!🥰
