I wouldn't only place the blame on Stanley for the ritual messing up. Stanford is the smartest character in this show but he is also very confident and arrogant. He just can't let Stanly get the last say and he knows how hotheaded Stanly is. If we would of just accepted his responsibilities of causing the end of the world and said thank you to Stan without getting an attitude and talking back to Stan, they would have been able to finish the ritual. Both are at fault here
I'm stan in this situation. having to force a "thank you" out of my brother followed by a condescending little jab from him would make my blood boil lol. it's the end of the world though so maybe swallow it down for now and gut punch him later when he's not expecting it.
I love how much thought they put into even the small things. As an example, when we first met Grenda and Candy, Grenda had an iguana, and Candy had a 'cyborg' hand. They even showed the iguana again for the first time since its reveal (I think? Not 100% that it wasn't seen elsewhere) just before Wierdmageddon. Then, during the (awesome) fight, they had Grenda controlling the T-Rex hand, and Candy had the mechanical one.
Agreed. Stories should end. There's nothing worse than dragging the characters you love into less and less compelling situations for profit and the fear of closing out your narrative. This show is so short and so sweet.
Some of the pieces of media we remember the most fondly - Avatar, Breaking Bad, Gravity Falls, etc - are all relatively short next to other successful tv shows and all ended on a high note. It’s actually funny that they joked that Bill might have a twin. When it was revealed on IMDb that there was a character named Tad Strange. In an AMA with Alex Hirsch replying as Bill, when asked about tad he said “he’s a real square.” The fandom took that name and ran with it, creating a purple square demon who was a secret brother to Bill. And then we found out that Tad Strange was a joke character that had three lines in Stanchurian Candidate.
You know what made GF really amazing? Not just the fun and mysterious approach to the show, the creator of the show finishing the show on his own terms and not getting cancelled OR the studio taking over and making 15 seasons. This show has a great finale, and that's something not all shows get!

What I also find ironic is that Bill, of all characters, is the one who calls them out. “You wanna know what happens to your friends when you can’t get along?” True, it was to taunt the twins, but it leads to his downfall as the Stans FINALLY let go of their animosity and talk it out.

WAIT WAIT WAIT I don't know if anyone had this theory yet but something here just made me realized that it could potentially be Blendin Blandon that drew the symbol in the cave... It might not be a prophet, but a time traveler
I have a headcanon theory that Bill Cipher was once a Rick. Bill gives a speech to Ford about how he could ascend to godhood if he helps Bill and his motley crew escape Gravity Falls, telling him it would be an endless party with a host who never dies. He also comments on how he loathed his original dimension, which he only refers to as the 2nd Dimension, which he completely destroyed. In the Rickshank Redemption and Rickmurai Jack, Rick's flashbacks show him meet with another Rick (whom I refer to as The Traveler Rick) who chastises him for living a quaint life away from the other Ricks. The Traveler tells him he could ascend to godhood if he joins with the other Ricks, telling him it would be an endless party with a host who never dies. When turned down, the Traveler murders Rick's family for seemingly just for laughs. Adding to that, Rick is shown on numerous occasions to be depressed and lonely, Bird Person saying Wubba Lubba Dub Dub translating into "I'm in great pain, please help". In the Gravity Falls journal which creator Alex Hirsche has said is canon to the show, in the story of the Axlotol, Dipper and Mabel meet with the inter-dimensional entity, a giant axlotol, that tells them Bill Cipher lied when he claimed he was proud of the destruction of his home dimension and that he lived in regret. Considering both shows are canonically connected, I have a (admittedly head canon) theory that The Traveler tried to evolve himself into a higher lifeform, only for the experiment to go horribly wrong, decimate his entire dimension, and warp him into an amalgamation that would eventually become Bill Cipher, seeing how both Bill and Rick are insane and nihilistic. I know I'm likely never going to get an answer, but it was still a fun idea to come up with.

So sad that it has to End, it was a great Series 🤩🙌🏻 and a very great Reaction.
Oh, weird, I had no idea they added additional keys and codes to the finale once they cut it into 2 parts. At first when they said time to look for a key I was so worried they were going to be looking for nothing since originally this episode and the last were part of the same episode
"Do what no one in our family has ever done, touch the hill-billy."
PLEASE watch Between the Pines, the gravity falls behind the scenes episodes. You guys would love it
Ford just couldn’t help himself, could he? As I’ve been rewatching this show I think Bill has become a top 5 villain for me. Great reaction fellas!
Dang, we already at the end. Felt like it went by so fast...
Whelp..... time to tear up over Gravity Falls ending again
Jokes aside. Eric looks really good in that colour.
Also the reason I really love this finale is it was the closest to get to another attempt at something like Fight To The Finish because I saw that episode way back in Summer 2007 on Cartoon Network and it took a long time to get something like that again and also the true finale Echoes because that one ends like this too, everyone gets ready to move on from their time in the virtual world Lyoko.
I'm glad Gravity Falls brought me to this channel, it's exciting getting to the finale with the guys.
Straight away, props for Shawndra for the info.
"Touch the hillbilly"
Right off the bat, nice T-shirt Eric.
It isn't a rule that Bill has to be invited into anyone's mind, because he entered Stanley's mind in his first appearance without consent. He just can't enter Stanford's mind because of the metal plate
Bill can't enter anyone's mind without permission. What Bill can do is project himself through dreams. Also, Bill was able to enter Stanley's mind because he made a deal with Gideon.
@@timrosswood4259 Yeah, he made the deal with Gideon, which if that was all that was required, he could make a deal with one of his goons to enter Stanford's mind. I think it is just because of the metal plate he can't enter Ford's without permission
@@Isaac-xs7tx i guess
3:38 guys, do you think this is the part that inspired 1 of the jokes from Undertale?
At the end of the game when you had the chance to meet everybody and when you were having a conversation with Alphys, Asgore asked "what's an anime", then you have 2 choices to answer : it's like cartoons but with guns/ swords. Am I right?
Cool Mcgugget, is now a cultured old man
Gun swords and anime lol 🤣
I never knew u were reacting to it after watching this video I have watched all the reactions of gravity falls on this channel in just 2 days
i cant believe its over :] this has been so great to see you guys watch
I've always assumed Bill Cipher does have a twin, named Lou.
what? why?
@@bluefrostryy The pun? Lou Cipher?
Mcguckett turning the shack into a robot reminds me of soul eater when lord death used brew to turn death city into a weapon.
The ice for wendy is actually a throw back to the crocerystore ghosts episode
Glad to know there is a Part 2 to 2-20.
6:31 HAHHAHAHA so good
6:47 I thought for sure Rick was going to make a OP reference
This was an hour long episode when it originally aired, then Disney+ split it up for some reason. The entirety of Weirdmageddon could honestly just be deemed a 2 hour long episode
WAIT WAIT WAIT I don't know if anyone had this theory yet but something here just made me realized that it could potentially be Blendin Blandon that drew the symbol in the cave... It might not be a prophet, but a time traveler
knowing The Book Of Bill, Stan actually saved everyone.
"They're like ash" I mean, not wrong XD
i cant believe next week is the end 😪
The end is near
Here we go
"Touch the hillbilly" 😂😂
Welcome to the heart of Weirdmaggedon.
This episode makes me tear up for some reason.
Gods I wish I had money so I could go watch that last reaction.
Don’t worry next week but also sad because it’s the end🥺
Bill can only enter Ford's mind if he shakes his hand because of Ford's metal plate in his head. Bill can possess anyone else without the handshake.
Rick really looks like Jason Momoa 🧜🏼♂️
No way. Rick has the same exact shirt I just bought my dad for his birthday ahaha
You should watch Gravity falls between the pines and gravity falls one crazy summer. In Gravity falls between the pines Alex Hirsch is interviewed by time baby. One Crazy Summer: A Look Back at Gravity Falls is a documentary that goes into a deeper dive into how Gravity Falls was made and includes details about the scavenger hunt that took place after the series.
oh shit i forgot this season was twenty-ONE episodes!! ONE MORE WEEK!!!
funny that next ep is my last day of summer too. well its Saturday but yknow
In season 1 episode 10 of Rick and Morty there is a moment in the butt dimension where Rick opens four portals and you can see items from gravity fall shoot out
Hell of a finale
IT'S THE SHACKTRON DUDE !!!!!!!!!!
Not use to seeing Calvin with long hair! Kept thinking you were wearing a scarf bro 😂
