You are never late here, I always try and reply. Have you moved the top layer? If you have moved the top hand layer away from the bottom it may look like you have two hands... Try and correct the top layers position
I need help. I've gotten the trial version of After Effects CC 2015 for a school project and I'd like to use this, but when I add it I can't change it to screen and put it over my base video. Please help me someone this is due Monday and maybe I can extend it to Wednesday.
Hey there, lets make sure you select the Dr Strange effect layer... Than look below the files on the timeline and you will see a button called Toggle switches / Modes. Select that and than you will see the modes buttons for each element. let me know if that helped you.

So I tried what you said. I placed the Dr Strange file into After Effects above my video. It showed the symbol super big, covering the whole screen and when I shrank it down, my video wasn't under it. When I clicked on my video in the bottom left where the files were it came up, but without the symbol (even after turning the mode to screen). It only shows either of them when I click them, but never at the same time. Have you ever encountered this before?
+UnderWaveLad jusy a question. Are you following the tutorial? It sounds like either your playhead on the timeline isn't on both layers but check opacity on the effect. Select T and make sure its 100%. If you tried to animate you may not have set the keyframe.
Sounds to me like you have either nulled an object or used the pick whip and linked a layer. I would first do a problem solve. So first do I have a NULL object? If it’s the NULL then unlink the layer you want to adjust the transparency on. If not then check each layer from top to bottom. Check to see what each layer is linked to. Press T on each layer (Shortcut for opacity) and see if you have set keyframes. If you have chances are you want to leave those alone but check to see if they also move. I think you have linked the other layers via pick whip to the layer you are trying to adjust.

Removes the screen part of it? Do you mean the edges of the clip? Or the screen mode? Try using the Z,X, and Y to select the object and bring it forward. Because I think what you have done is put part of the video clip into the background footage.Let me know fi that helped :)

Ok on that composition (select the video you are rotobrushing) press M and you will see the mask layer show up. Change the Mask from Add to Subtract and it will flip the matte over for you ;)
Ok ill check when I get home. I have CS6 but if it is not coming up in the effects present panel then you may have to find it in the effects drop down. Someone else who has CC also commented that they couldn't find it. But ended up finding the plugin. Check the comments below this video I think he mentioned the fix.

The sparks are coming dead_pool. BTW check out my Deadpool logo tutorial. You might like it ;)

You can download the element and use it in AE CS4. Just make sure you update your quicktime first to make sure its up to date.

Not trying to make fun if you're genuinely colour-blind, but that colour isn't magenta, it's amber. Magenta is a purple-ish pink.

Film Masters my bad, yeah, it removes the screen mode option once I turn it into a 3D object. I don't know why, I may just have to reshoot my film 😊
