I’m so happy I found ur account. I’m 15 and want to go Ywam in my gap year when I’m 18. Gonna start saving now❤️but I know God will provide
That’s so amazing!!! I’m so happy for you!! Ywam has been an incredible experience for me!
Thanks for giving us a look into your life Kaytlin! And btw, such a supportive family and boyfriend at the airport!
Thank you so much Sarah I really appreciate it!!!
I'm really happy for you! May the Lord continue to excite your heart ♥️ I heard about YWAM Kona lat year at the send and I really want to go. I signed up in faith but really had no money and courage to ask around. Seeing this video is reigniting my heart.
Aww I’m so glad! The best encouragement I could give to you is what God calls us to He pays for. The best fundraising tip I could give you is believe you’re worth fundraising for! God has put a call on every one of our lives, and this season is so equipping! Don’t be afraid to post on social media and reach out to family and friends!
No way. I just came across your video and I was in A202 when I was in DTS!!! Literally right before you!! I was fall 2022! 🤯
Loved watching this!! Ignore the hater comments, keep creating 😊
Thanks girl!!!🥰🥹
💯💯ALOHA CHEEHOOOOO
I’m gonna be there in September for F&F !! Literally so so excited !!
It is incredible you will love it!!!💗
Ahhh I might go! Praying for God to provide, I just found out about it from a program with Contend being held on a YWAM base!
GIRL UR IN THE ROOM I WAS IN WHEN I WENT TO YWAM AHHHHH
IT IS SO CRAZY BEING HERE!!!
Very nice but it looks just like vacation?
Is dts 6 months? how do you pack clothes for that long? that's what my struggle would be hahaha
DTS is three months and outreach is another three months. My best packing advice is go as minimum as possible. there’s a boutique on campus where you can take free stuff and you’re also just gonna be accumulating clothes while you’re here so just pack necessities.
I'm so sorry, you guys look so bored! NOT! I was in Kona when it was still called PACU,,,,Pacific and Asia Christian University. Then turned to U of N. Kona rocks!
What is the age gap there ? I’ve been thinking about going there maybe…
There are individuals here from the age of 17 to 29! Such an incredible group of people! I definitely recommend!
Ywam is just a spiritual high trip.
I personally feel like it is a concentrated environment/season to grow and deepen your relationship with the Lord. It definitely feels like drinking from a fire hydrant sometimes!😂 ultimately the goal is to give you applicable, amazing tools that will help you in your relationship and life walking with the Lord and then shows you what missions truly looks like in the nations.
I'm going in April I'm so nervous
It’s really nerve racking in the beginning, but just remember God’s got you! He has so much to show and teach you in this time!!!
Girl same! Going there in April too :)
@@abigailanisha7227 hi!!!
My friend is going April 6th, she's doing the Fire &Fragrence: Extreme Places.
She has a UA-cam channel to if you wanna connect with her.
I just got back from my DTS at YWAM Louisville - came home early after lecture phase cause of family stuff, but everyone in my DTS are going on their outreach (Thailand, Egypt, & Brazil).
@@_its.stephanie.rose_I’m going to that one in April as well! What’s her channel name?
This really wasn’t that spiritual at all. I started researching ywam because I keep running into people talking about it here in Hawaii. I ran into a group of young adults( I think they were from Oahu ) in a thrift shop in Kona and I immediately felt one of the girls “ putting on a show”. To the point I was a little uncomfortable. The owner of the shop asked what her favorite verse was and she couldn’t even respond. Your video kind of comes off the same. It just seams showy, all to make friends and travel to exotic places. That’s all great but what actually are you doing there?! God has a plan for you and this is apart of it. I just don’t believe this is a place where you are supposed to stay for very long
I’m sorry you haven’t had good experiences with individuals from ywam. I would love to answer your comment hitting on two things.
The thing I tell people is whether you are a part of a different missions organization, a Church, a small group, a job or ywam, you will be surrounded by a combination of people from all different walks of life. It’s sad to say that in every space we’re in a lot of people don’t represent the full picture of Christ well because we are in perfect people. I would definitely recommend doing more research in finding out more information from viable resources, as well as talking to multiple people about their experiences as well.
And as far as what we “actually do” from the day in and day out, is so spiritually saturated. every day starts with worship and ends with worship. We are in class all day long, learning about the Bible and learning biblical truths. We serve the campus by doing work duty for hours every day because no one gets paid who is a part of ywam, so we all work together to make sure everything runs smoothly.
I created these videos as a resource for people who have no information going into ywam to show what a truly life-changing experience It is. So many people have differing opinions, and everybody has different experiences. I can only speak for my experience, which was a beautiful deepening in my relationship with the Lord, and finding friends that are like minded in Christ, that I am still friends with today. Ultimately, I do recommend Ywam to people because it teaches you great skills that are not only biblical truths, but how to live with people, being selfless, growing in maturity, and also asking hard questions of “what do I truly believe at the end of the day and what does the Bible say to be true?” 🩷
The immodesty is insane. Far from appropriate, no discretion smh. Far from Godly.
