Holding in the melee button to catch the spike most definitely still works. I use it all the time. I also have full auto melee on, not sure it that matters but holding in the RB button on my controller will catch the spike everytime YOU MUST HAVE FULL AUTO MELEE ON for this to work
you can also swap cyrtarachnes facade for assassins cowl and then swap thread of transmutation for thread of warding and boom. woven mail on orb pickups, and invis and full health on grapple melee kills or finishers. it’s like a better cyrtarachnes because with powerful attraction, you can just dodge for on-demand woven mail.

I have this build with decoys and isolation instead of maelstrom and fury. I use Monte carlo, striga, and grav lance with it and i have constant woven mail, tons of sever, and tons of decoys. @@Red-ev8ls yeah, thats the setup I use, between having something to take aggro and something to go around killing stuff for free, I have a one man fireteam
To easily catch your melee back by simply holding a key or button, you need to change some settings. I throw mine and simply hold the button on my controller and my character catches it every time. In your controller or Keyboard/Mouse settings in Destiny, change it to custom. Un-bind the auto melee. You'll need to have your charge melee on the option you want and select the long press setting for it. My uncharge melee is on the same key/button but with the double press settings. You also need to put the full-auto melee at on in the gameplay setting.
Mmm i disagree with the exotic. You can get woven mail way too easy with an orb, if you do RDA + reaper + powerful attraction you can be perma rolling/ throwing sever melee/ grapple to spam orbs with heavy handed and have crazy survivability with the orbs heal you on your boots. You dodge and get full health and DR and gen an orb and then rinse an repeat. Spamming the melee is also super effective at clearing adds too. Recommend navigator if possible to give slightly more woven mail uptime if you need to start the DR before you can gen an orb.
You don’t really need them with this build tbh. It’s only going to a damage buff and if you play smart you can force an orb to drop before you actually need the buff by using the reaper mod on your class item or your melee or the mod on your helmet. Everything else about the build is fairly self sustaining. Now if you’re trying to generate orbs for group play then that’s a different story…
@@gabrielstahl1131 Thats not what I was pointing out. Im talking about the build itself having an armor charge bug that wont allow you to accumulate any armor charge until you remove 3 armor mods. (not talking about if you need it or not, just a genuine bug that affects this build)
The Artifact has a mod that does exactly what the fragment does to spawn a tangle. Wasted Fragment slot which could be used for something else. Either being a stat boost fragment or a mobility boost.
The Navigator with Caty might be good for this build as while because of the grapple point it can shoot with it. You can also use some fragments and mods that have a chance to make a tangle or hatchling on strand weapon kills (Navigator). I don’t know if it would be good. Just an idea :)
You mention it for GMs while you already take so much Damage during a Neomuna Mission. In a GM you will get owned with this because you can only heal through Orbs. And if you get Orbs then you can use Thread of Warding for Woven Mail. You would have to go out of your way to set this up and that means it would make more sense to use a different Exotic, for example Foetracer, Assasins Cowl, Lucky Pants or Stareaters. In any other Content you don´t even need that much Damage Resist or you can produce so many Orbs that Thread of Warding is the better option. This Exotic is only useful for PvP and a waste of a slot for PvE.
Do anyone knows how to get the exotic right now? I finished the campaign but I think I picked another exotic cuz im dumb. Is there any other way to get it?
I feel so dumb...I didn't know grappling to a grapple point didn't use a grenade charge. This is huge to me. Thank you for this build. Def going to try it.

You need to get The Navigator with catalyst then you don't need to run double grapple nade.
Thats sped
To easily catch your melee back by simply holding a key or button, you need to change some settings. I throw mine and simply hold the button on my controller and my character catches it every time. In your controller or Keyboard/Mouse settings in Destiny, change it to custom. Un-bind the auto melee. You'll need to have your charge melee on the option you want and select the long press setting for it. My uncharge melee is on the same key/button but with the double press settings. You also need to put the full-auto melee at on in the gameplay setting.
You just need full auto melee setting on
yeeeey ^_^ seem like a fun build to try :3 i loved the stasis hunter build you did ^_^
Mmm i disagree with the exotic.
Yeah I think assassins cowl is better but anything works
@@Dr.Vinheimimagine a rat king and its catalyst with a strand cowl build using widow's silk and threaded spector...❤
@@ianelliott8720 @.@
As a solo player im missing many of the exotics needed for these builds ffs
Wait, did you say “Death Roomba”? Hahahahaha (-UrbanRangerOriginal)
My left bumper just broke
lets hope the bees won't stop me from using this
Will reiterate that there is an issue with this particular build and not being able to stack armor charges...
No kidding! Imagine using this on the boss encounter for Scarlet Keep... Get blasted😢
Now if I can only stay on long enough to play around with this.... 😢
Does it still work?
bro what shader is this
Do anyone knows how to get the exotic right now? I finished the campaign but I think I picked another exotic cuz im dumb. Is there any other way to get it?
Yes, earlier then expected.
I'm using Gyrfalcons on Strand.
😂
I just wish the helmet looked better. Lol. Nice build though and another good video.
It got a ornament this season
I got the ornament..😅 it looks like a pair of nvg( night vision goggles)
My man's putting out guides as if we won't get error coded while making the build 😂
JK for sure gonna try it out when the game is stable again.
fashion guide video of this?
I feel so dumb...I didn't know grappling to a grapple point didn't use a grenade charge. This is huge to me. Thank you for this build. Def going to try it.
What is that armor 🔥🔥
anyone know the song?
