Africa has the most unusual and exotic animals. Interesting video, those cow horns are very beautiful. Very soon my daughter will be visiting Entebbe, Uganda.
We love Kenya 🇰🇪 too. We are always happy to feed you when your ugali gets finished 🤗 Because Uganda 🇺🇬 has too much food and is green throughout the year 😊
... I would encourage Ugandans from other parts of the country and non Ugandans to pay a visit to the facility, to see, feel, learn, experience, interact, relax, and enjoy Ankole cattle culture. This facility is of its own and does not exist anywhere else. Come one come all!

Verry imprssive i appreciate for this also many appreciations for AIM AGRICULTURE YOU MADE A GREAT JOB for those who are dreaming in Agriculture.
@jegonzfarm7867 it's an endangered breed that has been with us 7000 years The bantu of Rwanda Burundi drc had been decimating them To the point american brought some in usa for preservation I feel joyous m7 and Paul Are allowing them to multply
Surely wen i came across your videos , i really felt a wave of gratitude ... May the lord bless you for the love u have towards our culture ... It so rare these days to find an "Educated" person passionate about Agriculture and our agricultural culture activities .. Just like it's very stupid to find an educated person who doesn't respect and feel proud of his culture... Your doing a great work brother ! Literally what your doing ...the hundreds goats , cows , diary farming etc , Will be one time my dream come true . THANKS MANH .
Be grateful to this Govt for giving u protection and other incentives especially in the Diary sector...where I come from(Central Uganda)there is land grabbing orchestrated by the same Govt officials and we don't have any support wen it cmes to Cattle keeping..The few that we had has also been taken away by cattle rustlers who enjoy Police protection..Uuhhhh enjoy.
The descendants of an ancient breed of cattle that lived in the Nile River Valley around 4000 BC, Ankole cattle are known for having the largest and widest horns of any cattle species. They have been seen in Egyptian heiroglyphs and are often referred to as the “cattle of Kings.” 0:30 [Philadelphia Zoo]

Amazing in every aspect: docile cows, how to treat and conserve milk, and more wonderful the craftsmanship in the traditional hut. I wud wish to experience that Banyankole / Bahima beautiful life
Did you say kwitera to refer to that process of preparing the milk pot? I saw my late grandma do a similar thing using special roots and the name for that process has a similar name, save for a slight variation in pronunciation. I couldn't help but notice the similarities in how you tend to your cows during the milking process. This is from the way you tie the legs to the serenade. We have similar practices though many miles apart. Am a Bantu from Kenya, meaning we have a common ancestry.
This amazing great culture keep it up keep it up in the u s looking at your channel coming to Africa in 2024 looking forward visiting this lodge & farm
When you talk about extinction,I believe it due to limited land for grazing and the high cost of management Incase you were intense the grazing techniques.. and encourage people who still have big and sizeable land to keep our indigenous cows
Cows created not to stay in one place but nomads so the globalists cause they don't love cow culture they created hardships in cow'$ movement so that it become hard to raise them in one place all seasons
