    ... I would encourage Ugandans from other parts of the country and non Ugandans to pay a visit to the facility, to see, feel, learn, experience, interact, relax, and enjoy Ankole cattle culture. This facility is of its own and does not exist anywhere else. Come one come all!

It so rare these days to find an "Educated" person passionate about Agriculture and our agricultural culture activities .. Just like it's very stupid to find an educated person who doesn't respect and feel proud of his culture... Your doing a great work brother !       Be grateful to this Govt for giving u protection and other incentives especially in the Diary sector...where I come from(Central Uganda)there is land grabbing orchestrated by the same Govt officials and we don't have any support wen it cmes to Cattle keeping..The few that we had has also been taken away by cattle rustlers who enjoy Police protection..Uuhhhh enjoy.

    Did you say kwitera to refer to that process of preparing the milk pot?
    I saw my late grandma do a similar thing using special roots and the name for that process has a similar name, save for a slight variation in pronunciation.
    I couldn't help but notice the similarities in how you tend to your cows during the milking process. This is from the way you tie the legs to the serenade.
    We have similar practices though many miles apart.
    Am a Bantu from Kenya, meaning we have a common ancestry.

    When you talk about extinction,I believe it due to limited land for grazing and the high cost of management Incase you were intense the grazing techniques.. and encourage people who still have big and sizeable land to keep our indigenous cows
