Decades ago, I was blessed to receive quite a few kitchen ware items from Williams Sonoma, and they're all still holding up beautifully! They offer high quality items! Can't afford these days to buy much from them, but enjoy the constant use of the things I do have! I have a few aprons from there, and all have lasted wonderfully through the years. Wishing you decades of joyful cooking with your items!❤❤❤
Hi, this is Esther from Wisconsin. We have 4 cats. so our kitchen is filled with all things Christmas cats. Actually it's always everything cats for all seasons! I love your show. I love how excited you get when you open packages and thrift store cookbook bundles. You make my day. God Bless you and yours. Have a very Merry Christmas.
I keep separate towels and mitts for different holidays. Some I actually use and others are just decorations. I enjoyed watching this unboxing even though it's a year later!
Enjoyed looking at your Christmas Dolly Parton items. You could hang the oven mitt for Santa, instead of a stocking, ha, ha! Great merchandise. Thanks for sharing.
That first spatula would probably become my "hand smacking tool". In my family, 50% of the work for holiday meals is keeping the non-cooks from sneaking all the food before it goes to the table, lol. A stout "smacker" is necessary to keep the men out of the desserts, in particular.
I do have quite a few Chanukah related towels and such that were gifted to me by a co-worker and I use them only at Chanukah, obviously. I have latke melamine plates, napkins, a table runner an old friend made for me years ago. I love taking them out and putting them out a few days before the holiday. Makes me feel really good. Emjpu all your Dolly goodies. I am not a huge fan of hers so I won't be purchasing any but I love the quality of Williams-Sonoma and I do buy some of their things sometimes. There is a store about 45 minutes from my house and I go in a couple of times a year to look around. The only kitchen store anywhere around here.
We are lucky enough to have a Sur la Table nearby. The nearest Williams Sonoma is about 45 mins away for us too. There used to be a few more locations close by but not anymore. My favorite kitchen store in the world is...well ok I have 2. One is The Butler Pantry in Saugatuck, MI, and the other is Peppercorn in Boulder, CO. Whenever I get a chance to visit either one, I set aside an hour or two if possible so that I can really take my time!
I have kitchen items I use at Christmas, all individual things - a couple mugs, a plate, a bowl, little spice jars I use for cinnamon sugar, etc. And linens - dish towels, napkins. I like the Patchwork apron. I would be interested in a grocery haul / what I eat in a day video!
Little cinnamon spice jars, I love that! You reminded me that I haven't done a grocery hall since we've been back in Ohio. I should buy the same items as one of my CA hauls and compare prices!
Enjoyed this video. Such nice items and such quality. I got so tickled at your comment of not doing hauls of your household items and such..Lol. I am enjoying your wonderful channel so much.
Hi Anna sorry I have fallen way behind. Will work on trying to keep in touch. I love Dolly. Such a gorgeous Apron. I won’t that apron. My mom use to sing me coat of many colours when I was little. Actually one day in grade 7 I had a really bad day and went o got home from school I sat on my Mom’s lap and she sang me the song. I will always remember how she made sad days better. Goodness I missed watching you. Hope you are well
Jerri-ellen! HI!! I am literally watching your videos right now as I clean up my kitchen. 😂 So sorry you've been feeling under the weather, but glad to hear you're feeling better now. I just love this story about your mom singing Coat of Many Colors. So wonderful. I didn't know about your second channel until I watched your most recent video! Super excited to catch up on those, I love DITL stuff. Looking forward to seeing what you bake up for Christmas!
@@cooking_the_books oh wow thank you so much Anna. That means a lot ! Thank you!!!! I plan on catching up on your retro recipes in morning over some coffee 🤗
I didn't know about it either until my husband saw the advent calendar somewhere online. Then we discovered there was a whole line of products and had to have 'em!
Some people want to go to heaven when they die, i want to go to Williams-Sonoma. I have several of their cookbooks, but none of Dolly's and that may have to change.
Williams Sonoma has really good quality, but their shipping is so slow, at least in my opinion. I ordered 2 saucepans a couple years ago. 3 months later I gave up and cancelled the order. They were waiting for the pans to ship on a slow boat from China. Literally what I was told.
Hello Anna.Dolly Patrton Knows how in need people in the Appalachian Mountains are, are your items made in america or Appalachian Mountains or China? Not being a smart ass I love your videos and find you so adorable. But I think that's a valid queastion.Yes.Unboxing video of things sent to you by your fans.
Thank you!! I'm so glad you like my videos. I checked the Williams Sonoma website, and the mug and spatula are made in China, and the apron and hot mitts are made in India. I couldn't find any additional information on the sugar cookie mix and advent calendar.
@@cooking_the_books Hello Anna.Thank you.I swear I wasn't being smart but was just wondering wear they were made..Even Trump says he wears tailored suits made in china because thats how things are set up..Just too bad Dolly isn't helping her people by giving them work.
I actually have been disappointed with the Dolly Parton Advent Calendar. It is pricey for what you get - cheap hard candy. For that price you expect more.
Hi Kathleen! I filmed this before opening the advent calendar. It was definitely pricey...we got a Lindt advent calendar at Costco for several dollars less, and it's had nice chocolate every day. One thing I did enjoy in the Dolly calendar - the starlight mints. My grandma loved these and always kept a GIANT bag of these in the back seat of her car. We grandkids always called it 'hot candy.' 😄 She passed away almost 10 years ago, so it felt like a nice little 'hello' from her.

Two of my favorite people, Dolly and Anna in one video, what could be better?!
Hooray! I’ve been saving this for Christmas time and it was super fun! 😃🎄✨
Yes more unpackaging vids. It’s fun!!

Oh my gosh, it's so huge that I definitely could! 😄
That mug is a treasure! You make your unboxing/haul videos so fun and informative! I’d love to watch more in the future! :)
The mug was even better than I expected it would be! So pretty and just really nice quality overall.
I decorate my kitchen like the rest of the house. I have towels and decorations made or bought for the kitchen.
Off topic. I love your glasses they look really nice on you. Love Dolly. She's a national treasure. No it's not weird to decorate with the box !
Oh thank you! I just got a new pair. They did such a great job with the packaging design on these, I can't help but want to hold onto them! 😄

Oh this is a great idea! I think Williams Sonoma needs to be marketing this as a hand smacker instead of a spatula. 😂
Beautiful items! Love the apron.❤️🇨🇦
Omg! Dolly is the angel on the top of the tree!!!!

Oh my heart is so happy with this video!!!!! Holy crap- an advent calendar!!!!!! 😮😮😮😮😮😮
I'm so glad you liked it! Everything is so nice, I'm really happy with all of it.
I’m ordering the calendar right now- no lie
OMG! You should TOTALLY do an "opening stuff from Walgreens" video!
My latest and greatest Walgreens purchases have been store brand Sudafed and travel sized packs of tissues! 😂

Wow! This is awesome.
I love what you bought.
Williams-Sonoma is always great, so is Dolly. 🥰❤️
Thank you! 🤗 This was so much fun to film, and I'm thrilled with the items in person!
I didn't know about these. Very cool to see the collection!!
My husband happened to see the advent calendar online somewhere, and then we discovered the rest!
@@cooking_the_books What a fun discovery! I hope you enjoy everything😊
I didn't know about the Dolly collection there. Such beautiful items! Love the linens & the mug! And I would keep the box to the cookie mix too. :-)
I was really happy with the quality and how nice everything looked in person. Thinking of trying the cookie mix soon!
Yes share
I'd love to see more unboxing videos
Great! This was a fun one to film.
@@cooking_the_books You're welcome😊
I used to have holiday items but I stopped doing that many years ago
My daughter is really into cats. We have 4 of them. We have dish rowels for every season and holiday but they have to be cat themed.
Enjoyed this video. Such nice items and such quality. I got so tickled at your comment of not doing hauls of your household items and such..Lol. I am enjoying your wonderful channel so much.

Unfortunately they don’t ship the mugs to Florida! Bummer! 😔
Oh no! That really is a bummer. The site now says they won't ship to my area either. Maybe it has something to do with what's currently in stock?
