Love the lace. Have you ever tried the tiny pony tail elastics for closures. I can leave them buttoned and slip the cuff over my hand to put it on and take it off. They are so much fun and the perfect compliment to one of my quilted vests.
Very pretty ❣ I just subscribed. You have beautiful projects. I hope all is good for you and that you will be making more tutorials like this one. Thank you.
This is beautiful, and I am going to try my hand at the lace! I have my cuff base all ready for prettiness, and have been wanting to try the hand made lace so, here goes :). Such a great simple project to try. Thanks for the inspiration.
Pauline Littlewood making the lace can certainly be a little tedious. But it’s fun to see how creative you can be with it. Thank you for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate the input.
Hello, neighbor. I live in Door County but Minocqua is one of my favorite places to visit❤️ Your video popped up in my feed today and I am amazed I haven’t seen your channel before! What a fun project to try! May I ask what model sewing machine you’re using? Thanks. I subscribed…looking forward to watching all your other projects!
Jellico Sews thank you! I did use the darning foot with the feed dogs down. For this project I used the same thread for top/bobbin. I do believe I used Sulky 944-1001.
What a wonderful idea. I did not know you could draw your own lace. Very pretty. I must give this a try. TFS!
Janet West at some point in the future I will be doing a more detailed tutorial on the lace.
The cuff is very beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

I have a Pfaff Quilt Ambition 2
Beautiful! Would love to see the actual lace sewing bit too sometime. Was that done with the darning foot? What thread did you use (top and bobbin)?

I’m not sure I understand the closure. Did you do a buttonhole and a button?
