I experienced a very close Hellcat flyby at one of the Muskegon airshows years back. Later in the show it grouped up with other Grumman aircraft to do a 'Cat Flight' (Tomcat, Wildcat, Tigercat, Bearcat, and the Hellcat). It was something to see.
Tim, I miss the days of the Guillows builds, and conversions you did. What would you think about a Spirit of St Louis multi part build? While talking about the history of the plane while building it. I would even donate the kit if you wanted.
