Hi Carolin. I'm 'that person' you mention at the end of your video! Any drills to keep my body turning through impact? I keep stopping and my arms take over.
Very helpful!! Wow, I am very optimistic this will help me! You are very aware of common swings flaws! You teach the clearly. Thank you for being you!! Kelly in North Carolina
I have seen several videos about the training aid that holds your wrist position and was wondering about that myself. Very glad you covered that topic. Fantastic video, as always! Thanks!
Thanks for this clear message. But hands can generate some speed. Just before impact I see pro’s with 90 hands/wrist bend. Kind of pre release, instead of post release which only can be done after hitting the ball
I think this is a crucial topic for a lot of golfers. It would be nice to see you explain it again outdoors with driver also. Maybe show the effect of trying to hold off as well. I find if you actively try to not release it causes duck hooks.
Nice video. Agreed it should happen naturally, but I think the 45 degree release past the square position is due to upper body tilt and/or shaft lean at address. The lesser of each present, the closer to square the release happens, although not popular with most professionals. There are some instructors that say the arms and hands should play an active role in the swing instead of being passive; primarily aimed at senior citizens and/or those with significant mobility issues. They create the confusion.
Thanks Carolin, please can I ask you to show the cross over to the camera (swing towards the camera). Your explanation was very clear but we found not see the crossover part. I’m assuming it’s part of the re-hinging of the wrists and rotation of the arms into the follow through including the folding of the lead arm. I don’t understand why coaches don’t give this part of the swing much greater emphasis? Myles

That is excellent information!
Yes, this helps me understand the release -- Thank You!
Thank you from Switzerland. Would love to see the correct position of the wrirst on top of the back swing as well. Cheers
Thank You 🙏
That was a very good explanation Carolin. Well done!
Thanks! More great coaching.
Very helpful video for me as a beginner. thank you Carolin

Thank you, as an x ball player we always turn those over. This is very helpful.

A "Light Bulb" moment for me ! Love your instruction and the fact everything is done in a hallway, HGREAT Job!
how do you do it? keep the walls intact in your hallway, I'd have wrecked right away.
I’m only here to listen to her accent
