Congratulations to my #1 grandson, Jake Wolff, on his Disc Golf success. #2 grandson, Ben Wolff, a lefty, is perfecting his style, too! Fun times ahead for the Wolffpack👍🎉
I am already a huge Jake Wolf fan, I saw him randomly on tour last year while watching one of the events and was instantly impressed and interested in his game. So nice to see something new on tour! And what a story!!!!
He is quite the enigma, him and his brother. Can't wait to see him looking sharp on tour this year, The fact he is just getting started continues to blow my mind. He is a world champ in the making! Love the interview.
Great video. We are in a special time in disc golf where the sport is evolving in a lot of ways at once: technology, altheticism, course design. Five years ago, I don't know that a grenade was a shot that I'd even heard of. I also don't know that a disc exists that is really designed for what Jake Wolf is doing. He's really exciting to watch. I hope he keeps growing as a player and develops a backhand, especially for wooded courses. The talent is obvious.
This is actually crazy. I was a college pitcher and I hit 93 one time in my life. I picked up disc golf recently, about a year ago. Sadly for me I hurt my shoulder pitching and had to get labrum/ rotator cuff surgery so I can’t throw much of a overhand shot in disc golf. I really wish I could see my potential with disc golf if I could throw that tomahawk shot. Jake wolf is so fun to watch, I hope he comes to emporia this year and I can meet him.
I've been following Jake since the first time he popped up in my Facebook feed. I relate to the baseball background, so I can really appreciate that forehand game of his
This guy is an inspiration to me, I started playing disc golf a year ago and I play the same as him. I played baseball my whole life all I do is sidearm tomahawk and backhand is so foreign. this weekend I'm playing in the seco college qualifier hoping our team can get at least a d2 bid.
@Barry_MaCockener Oh my your so right! what was I thinking being. Being different sucks and that means I'm automatically bad at the game. Sorry for the error in my ways. I guess throwing tomahawks 400Ft is super uncool and that forehand turnovers are unviable.
Jake is a super nice guy. I’ve met him twice at Timmons park in the past month. Also went to the same college that I’m going to now. Almost aced 11 at Timmons in front of him. Again, awesome guy.
I've never met Jake, seems cool. I love Timmons also I don't play enough of that course since I'm 34 mins from it. I rather play dolly or GCS since they are closer to me.
It makes perfect sense his background would lead to his results. He uses his natural motion of throwing and isn;lt copying others mechanics. He just learned the feel of a proper throw. Most people go against this natural motion. We all are built differently.
I would think that type of throwing isn't sustainable....but then I think of older guys like Schwebby, and he still throws overhand shots all the time. Its awesome, anyways
Tomahawks are the coolest. I love throwing em but it always means I'm scrambling. Jake has me thinking of em from the fairway now. Off the teepad?! Lets go!!
Is he fun to watch in a trick shot sense sure. But let’s not act like he’s enjoyable to watch on a course. It’s awkward watching him struggle with simple shots because he can’t do basic shots. DG content creators love him because they can exploit the circus side of the sport and get clicks.
Did you even watch the video? He is so new to the game he has plenty of time to learn the backhand if he wants to. But I’d say stick to what works. He’s on the pro tour and only been playing like 4 ish years. He’ll continue to improve the shots he’s already good at and he’s proven he doesn’t need a backhand to be successful
Congratulations to my #1 grandson, Jake Wolff, on his Disc Golf success. #2 grandson, Ben Wolff, a lefty, is perfecting his style, too! Fun times ahead for the Wolffpack👍🎉
We need a grandma in disc golf!!!!
Thanks Grandma Wolff, don’t let this UA-cam fame go to your head lol
Love watching Jake throw. Hope he can get on coverage some more this year!
Yeah love watching him navigate a course with his unique style to the game
Excited to put on a show this year!
As a Thumber User, this is very exciting indeed! He started 2020? That is insane! Is Jake is any youtube coverage yet? 🤩
Lays up are for basketball! What a quote!
I am already a huge Jake Wolf fan, I saw him randomly on tour last year while watching one of the events and was instantly impressed and interested in his game. So nice to see something new on tour! And what a story!!!!
He's one of my favorite disc golfers. Love watching this dude. This is a great collaboration!!
Love this signing! Its a perfect match!

I met Jake last summer at the flying disc open in Rochester! Really nice guy and such a unique style!

Absolutely CHOICE choice with Jake Wolff. Dude's a phenom.
Gotta see Jake get some coverage this year.
The more I see Joseph the more I like him. such a kind guy
Followed him a couple years ago at Tennessee states. Dude is so kind and his game is unreal.
This is one of the best hype videos ive seen!
I love watching Jake's game. Just sooo different.
I've been following Jake since the first time he popped up in my Facebook feed. I relate to the baseball background, so I can really appreciate that forehand game of his
I saw him play in person at the AFDO in Rochester NY this past summer. It's just amazing to see his throws and his accuracy with them.
Jake Wolff is up next🔥
Jake vs Joseph ace run video needed
No chance. Joseph any day of the week but Jake is a BAD MAN! 😤
no backhands allowed ❌
I got to watch Jake at DGLO last year and it completely blew my mind lol. So much fun to watch.

His brother is just as good but he is left handed I've played with him before it's fun to watch
They might just be the most complete disc golf brothers out there in terms of different throws
Love watching this guy throw.
Holy shit...how far is he throwing it overhand?!
500+
Have Jake and Kramer played a round together? That would be an awesome card
No, not as far as I'm aware but Scott Stokely told a story about the time him and Jake played on a card in his livestream a while back

This guy validates the fact that I rarely throw backhand and mainly throw forehand.
he could be the poster-guy for a new wave of overhand. technique can eliminate pain for sure.
Lol no. There’s still strain/sprain/injury potentials from overhand. Eliminate pain, nah. More like job security for physical therapists and surgeons
@@jediinc6703 Cope. Higher your standards, & get in great shape like he is=it'll be just fine.

Love the first video at the end with the audible “what the..what the fuck” lol everyone was thinking it 😂
I love it! Do your own thing
Fun to watch and a class act too!
Jake is the freaking man!!
Jake is awesome!
You forgot to ask him about the time he saw the Orange Warden, live and in person.
Crazy.. had to be his most memorable moment in disc golf too
The orange warden is magical
This is a great pairing

If you dont want Jake to do well you are a major hater
one trick pony
Whole lot of missed cashes… maybe that says something about his game and maybe he should learn something new.
🤡

Not the most most exciting player in the sport. Sorry😢
