I’m neither a football or Spice Girl fan but I applaud this couple. Marriage can have it’s challenging moments without it being played out on the world stage and yet they weather the storms together.
Their documentary was not a disaster, it was the most trending when it came out. So monetary wise, it was a success. I watched the Beckam documentary, and it just confirmed what a trashy media you have there, and the way they treated him was nothing more than deranged. Nothing new then,
I binged watch BECKHAMS then rewatched it last night. Yes, they’re that interesting. I don’t know why Netflix bothered with the Harkles’ whinge whine fest from Monteshitshow!
It was a great documentary of his story. DB has the skills, the looks and smart man. Of all the hate and abuse towards him , he never fights back violently but proves to them on the pitch. He worked hard for what he has now.
Surprised on how honest David and Victoria came across. David owes a great amount of gratitude to his father who really forced him to practice and raise him to be the player he became.
How honest ? Honest and Beckham should not be said in the same sentence. He never expanded on the affair as to whether it happened or not. He didn’t deny that it didn’t happen. He also didn’t acknowledge he’s been accused of cheating on multiple occasions. There was no mention of his leaked unicef emails. This is a brand Beckham escapade like everything they do
I felt really sorry for him during the time that the British public turned against him for getting sent off. The treatment of him was horrific, you would think he had killed somebody, people forget football is a game.
It was shocking , I don't know how David survived that, humans can be so vile at times,, I cried about three times watching it, I don't watch football ,never had an interest, fair play to him and Victoria for surviving the tough times, it takes a strong individual , i admire you David, fair play to you 👏👏👏👏
I thought the same thing. The Brits can be so vicious! And yet, they had just buried Princess Diana, hadn't they? I'm surprised he stayed and played there; he showed such resilience, strength, self-respect and class...

I have watched the David Beckham documentary on Netflix and found it brilliant. It was so sad the way his fans treated him when he received a red card. He was a young man that made a mistake. He felt the whole country hated him and it still plays on his mind. He needs to know all the young ladies loved him and the older ladies who had sons, would feel exactly as his mum felt. There were also many men that didn't follow football and the so called fans should hold their heads in shame. Thank God he had Victoria by his side she helped to get him through that terrible time.
I am not a football fan, but always liked David. I wanted to watch for 30 minutes to see whether it is interesting. I ended up watching all four episodes in one sitting. I like him even more now. Delighted about his obsession with cleaning and amazed by his wardrobe organisation.
I have zero interest in football yet I was gripped by David’s story. The Beckhams come across as a really loving family. As he says proudly himself, his kids could have turned out little shits but they haven’t. David is the real deal. A really lovely bloke. Best documentary I have watched about a celebrity. The glimpses behind the scenes at home just made you wish to see more. Loved it.
Absolutely wonderful docuseries ..It's nice to see a couple being honest and real with no pretensions .. A fabulous couple and my admiration for them has soared..well done Netflix for putting a couple on who are so likeable ! I'm not a footy fan but even the footy bits were amazing I was gripped !!!!!
I am not a football fan, but found the documentary really interesting and very endearing towards both David and Victoria. They have certainly had a very interesting life, filled with highs and lows. I love the way David seemed to handle the intense pressure of negative publicity with very British grace. He just got on with the job, and I think that was very classy.
It's too bad so many Brits showed him absolutely no grace when he made a mistake during the World Cup. To spit at hom, to call him nasty names, to sing a repulsive song to his gf when she's sitting there at a game...ugh.
I loved loved loved the documentary! They are incredible people. What an excellent example of hard work, dedication and a marriage. I have a new love for the Bekhams whole family. ❤
Riveting documentary what a lovely guy David is, my heart went out to him during the abuse he suffered, being with Victoria helped him through it plus his devoted parents.
I absolutely loved it!. So honest, so human and humble. Don't really know much about football. I have a granddaughter who plays, but this was very enlightening. And Victoria "You did good girl" lovely human ❤
Loved the show. They are a real family, beyond all the fame and money, real feelings .david had so much pressure on him, worked so hard, but still remained a decent guy
I found this very refreshing - honest, humble and they didn't blame anyone for their problems - faced everything head on - a lessoned learned here for MM & H!!!
David and Victoria have stood the test of time, they are the royalty of the celeb world. As for Furguson he wanted to be the star and David took that away from him.
Never realised the hatred against him after that World Cup which seemed to be lost by the inability of the other players to score a penalty,Glen Hoddles remarks seemed to aggravate the situation, unlike Alex Ferguson who was there when he was needed, not a football fan but quite enjoyed the Netflix documentary
I don't watch sport. Never watched a football match in my life. Was too old to be a Spice girl fan. But binge watched this and loved it. Excellent documentary. Warm and genuine friends and family. And much respect for both of them.
I enjoyed the documentary. At the time I had no idea how much David and Victoria suffered at the hands of the general public, death threats etc. It was a good honest documentary.
What came across to me is what a phenomenal asset Victoria is. She has been incredibly supportive to her husband, has had to organize everything behind the scenes and bring up the children. I really felt for her when she had just given birth and he chooses to do the photo shoot with Lopez and Byonce. David showed an incredible amount of strength and resilience when the whole world was against him. Excellent documentary.
I’m glad they worked through their difficult times in their marriage and let’s face it , Victoria had to be the bigger one in that incident they weathered their storm and went on to become bigger and stronger ❤
I was playing for Grimsby under 14s and we played man utd in Rotterdam tournament. We got to semi finals then we got the class of 92 which we didn't know at the time , there was both Nevs ,scholes , butt , but the two best and we knew that they would make it was giggs and becks They made us look silly , I actually scored first 1/0 up after 4 mins 🥇 my proud moment in football. But we lost 18/1 🤣 giggs got 12 that day . He ended up top scorer with 78 goals . Next was 13 🙏 78 goals in 10 games . Little did we know how good bunch would become. I'm so proud of sir david Beckham and what a great man and family. I didn't make it as a professional ,so I did the next best thing . Served my country 25 years . I'm a man utd fan too but I've never seen them live . One day I hope .
It’s so lovely to see that an ordinary working class lad can become a genuine classy man. Just shows even us ordinary folk can be raised with principles and good manners, love of country, as well as solid family values. The Beckham are carrying on the best of British tradition. Fantastic!
I need to watch it. Having lived through husband picking up a woman on a stag weekend and continuing contact with her until I found out I can totally relate to how much is damages your marriage and I didn’t have it all over the press. That was 15 years ago for me and I still question whether I should just have called it a day - it’s always there.
Amazing documentary, my heart broke the dreadful treatment he got for getting sent off! It was horrible! David is such a strong person, I don't know how he got through such an unbearable time !!
Of course, you dive right into the affair when it was a small fraction of the sensational story of Beckham, his phenomenal career, and his resilient and happy family.
I was not shocked at the deranged way the media in the UK treated him, and how a lot of people swam in the media hatred. Not surprising, the British media are probably the lowest of low and doesn't say much for the country. No wonder a lot of Brits want to live in the US. We use to think that you were a nation of police, well informed, think for yourself people, but most Brits I know who live here so they will root for the underdog until you become successful.
I really liked the documentary.......it was honest, multi dimensional and objective. Unlike another couple from UK....who just whined whined and whined.
For me this was a documentary about family. Davids parents who worked him up and attended every game, Victoria and the kids. Man Utd and Real Madrid dressingrooms. The power of family union. They’ll get you through tough times.
Meghan and Harry should hang their heads in shame after watching the Beckhams documentary (I am sure they will watch it). It was a brilliant series. Honest, factual and all about the importance of families!!??
What a brilliant documentary. I was absolutely riveted. Well done Netflix you have a winner here. Let’s have more of this kind of interesting documentary and less of the likes of “ wannabe important ex royals”
It was a documentary on overcoming hardships and coming out stronger…..the grifters should try to learn something here. And I am sorry to be comparing a great couple to those two losers.
It was also a documentary about family. Loved the last shot of David kicking ball with Brooklyn. Actually one of the rare celebrity couples that seem to stay together forever. Cuz theyre both familypeople, simple as that. We should promote families more, today we promote individualism and materialism.
Some people say why talk about what happens years ago, I think they were right ,it was an elephant in the room and fact is it happened and they addressed it, moving on. Fact is they work and they work very well points to Victoria she was the star ⭐️ and she at times bowed to his foot ball ⚽️ career ,for someone that could not care less about football that was very big of her, wish them every happiness
Great documentary, honest and reality. In his falls, he rises, the Beckhams never give up the pressures with grace and humility. This family an epitome of love inspiration for success, Victoria being a huge part in his side. Thats more like it a family royal admiration of today.
i never followed football or the whole beckham thing. totally enjoyed the doco. the only football match i ever went to was man united vs olympiacos while i was on holiday in greece. i went with a few english coppers on holidays. i even got into the stadium, with securities permission, without a ticket! now i realise what i was actually watching!
He made a mistake with Rebecca, human beings are not perfect. As for Rebecca she too made a mistake but remember it takes two to tango. Great documentary and a great family United 🙏🙏🙏❤️
Now, this is what you call a documentary, unlike that couple who is constantly whinging ... I was never a fan of either David or Victoria, but after this, I will be a David Beckham fan. I'm not sure about Victoria yet. I think it was quite selfish of her to announce her pregnancy during the biggest moment of his life. Although it was a piece of great news for the couple, she should let David focus on the big event and tell him after the event (win or lose), that news would be a boost to him either way, that's just mho. Overall, enjoyed the documentary . . . . I love how he is so in love with her, yet he is not on a leash or will he do whatever she says, way to go David . . . that's a real man 👏👏👏and I will give credit to Victoria for not bragging to the world that you can control your man, even if you could 😋 I forgive that message that made him lose his focus, lol. . . . I know you were excited 😅 I hope you will smile a lot more in the future the way you used to, just maybe I will like you again 😅
Many couples don't survive marital challenges. The Beckhams have, and that's why people love them as people of true character. Like a form of parental guidance, the Beckhams give the increasing number of young people from broken homes, hope and inspiration, that being in a committed or long-term relationship has its rewards, it's benefits...
Never really paid attention to the Beckhams but always thought they were a beautiful couple. However, after watching the Netflix special, I am a huge fan.
Well done to the Beckhams. Just imagine what's happening in Monteshiteshow, the shrieking and the sobbing hysterically on the floor 😳🤯 And great reporting btw. The last question was excellent. 👊
I’ve watched the first two episodes and was horrified by how England and the Preston North End clubs treated him. First of all the refer in that game wasn’t fair. David didn’t deserve a red card and the other player from I think Argentina only get a yellow card. Plus the interview with that player, all I could think of was what a jerk. The treatment from the fans and how long standing it was was uncalled for. His coach was so unprofessional I couldn’t get over it. Football or what we Americans call soccer is a team sport. Coach if you haven’t recruited players who can’t win or play successfully without (David was like 23-24 years old) Dave you’ve done a poor job in coaching your team. I’d never seen David play but back in the day I saw Pele play here in Los Angeles and just watching clips of his games I was impressed. I’m looking forward to watching the rest but honestly was also horrified by how the media made it worse. Finally hat hats to his Dad for coaching and teaching David as a young boy. They seem to give credit to other coaches but his David was and amazing coach. It’s a very well done documentary and the honesty and how vulnerable David and Victoria Beckham are is refreshing. I hope those that bullied and treated them so horribly are ashamed of themselves especially because they were so young.
You cant blame Simeone and it was a red card because the ball was already away. Kicking after, even if its minor is red. Simeone just made it look worse but you cant really blame em as its a worldcup quarterfinal. Thats why coaches tell you to never react to provocations. In the end ure screwing up your team. Even David himself said multiple times it was a mistake. His head was just gone in that moment, he never deserved the treatment he got afterwards but it was a big mistake and if a player of my country did that I’d feel he let the country down as well. But I would never ever verbally abuse them
Beckham attended the World Cup last year in a country known for its vile views on human rights. Rod Stewart has just turned down a lucrative deal worth millions to perform in Saudi Arabia another country known for its vile views on human rights. I know who I support
Victoria is so real. He’s the lucky one having her. It was obvious at the time he’d cheated and Victoria’s face was etched with the pain - and public humiliation. She loves him so deeply she stuck by him. She’s a wonderful funny witty intelligent talented lady. Him …. Anything but! I fail to see why women - ugh … let’s just say it’s the PR machine around him. Let’s not forget either the disgraceful foul mouthed recording of him calling the Royals c@nts when he didn’t get the MBE he so wanted. Please Charles - don’t do it! There are many more worthier people.
Victoria worked as a barmaid in Empson Surrey before she was in the spice girls. I don't know if its true but I heard a lot off the fella's had a lot of fun with her 😮
An excellent, interesting authentic Documentary. Real. Human. Also Victoria is so gorgeous and I Think it DISGUSTING that his alleged mistress came out to talk about it. She seems so low llife and cannot compare to Victoria in any way. David Beckman is goregeous and sweet and lovely.
I’m neither a football or Spice Girl fan but I applaud this couple. Marriage can have it’s challenging moments without it being played out on the world stage and yet they weather the storms together.
An excellent documentary about David & Victoria Beckham! Really well done unlike Netflix's disastrous documentaries with the Harkles!
Yes, thought the same!!!! Do not enjoy football, but thoroughly enjoyed this!
Their documentary was not a disaster, it was the most trending when it came out. So monetary wise, it was a success. I watched the Beckam documentary, and it just confirmed what a trashy media you have there, and the way they treated him was nothing more than deranged. Nothing new then,
There will be clenching of the jaw, and throwing herself on the floor in floods of tears( well maybe a tear out of the left eye) in Monteshitshow 🥰
The Beckhams are far more engaging in 4 episodes than Harry and wife were in six episodes. I rewatched Beckham.
I binged watch BECKHAMS then rewatched it last night. Yes, they’re that interesting. I don’t know why Netflix bothered with the Harkles’ whinge whine fest from Monteshitshow!
It was a great documentary of his story.

He also put the dedication in himself along with his dad .
I just can’t see where David. Beckham was ever forced to practise. Football. Stupid comment. It was. David that played. Not his. Father
U can see why. People get annoyed. Reading a post like that. Paparazzi. Again. Should all b sacked.
Love this pair now... did not like them previously... fantastic and honest !!!! ❤❤❤
I felt really sorry for him during the time that the British public turned against him for getting sent off. The treatment of him was horrific, you would think he had killed somebody, people forget football is a game.
Agree, I know its the national sport but some people need to grow up. You can support the team without abusing the players
@@paulinegauthier1867 the Brits? David played for England and a English club not Britain.
It was a very surprisingly honest doco - they are a very good match - they deserve their success - loved it.

Absolutely amazing documentary to see David and Victoria open up so much respect for both of them

A very hard working family, dotting parents plus true love 💕 conquers all, well done you two.
They effectively confirmed his affairs and how difficult it was when it came out. Victoria is a very strong woman. More power to her.
Absolutely wonderful docuseries ..It's nice to see a couple being honest and real with no pretensions .. You dont really have a choice do ya? He is a topprofessional, thats the least thing you can expect..

I'm a 73 yr old lady who isn't a big soccer fan. I saw the documentary and was captivated.
An amazing documentary!..,Congrats to the Director and All Crew ehhh….They did an AMAZING JOB!🙏🏻✌🏻❤️
I don't watch sport. Never watched a football match in my life. Was too old to be a Spice girl fan. But binge watched this and loved it. Excellent documentary. Warm and genuine friends and family. And much respect for both of them.
I saw the documentary and loved it.
I enjoyed the documentary. At the time I had no idea how much David and Victoria suffered at the hands of the general public, death threats etc. It was a good honest documentary.
Apart from admitting to the affair
And, yet they do not adopt a victim mentality at all. Loved the show and really admire them both❤
What came across to me is what a phenomenal asset Victoria is.
Yes that was the only thing i didn't like about David going to a photo shoot instead of being at his wife's side when she was giving birth.
I’m glad they worked through their difficult times in their marriage and let’s face it , Victoria had to be the bigger one in that incident they weathered their storm and went on to become bigger and stronger ❤
David and Victoria lovely couple. Wonderful family
David was such a fantastic footballer and has always been easy on the eye, I really enjoyed it and I’m a city fan 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was playing for Grimsby under 14s and we played man utd in Rotterdam tournament.
We got to semi finals then we got the class of 92 which we didn't know at the time , there was both Nevs ,scholes , butt , but the two best and we knew that they would make it was giggs and becks
They made us look silly , I actually scored first 1/0 up after 4 mins 🥇 my proud moment in football.
But we lost 18/1 🤣 giggs got 12 that day . He ended up top scorer with 78 goals .
Next was 13 🙏
78 goals in 10 games .
Little did we know how good bunch would become.
I'm so proud of sir david Beckham and what a great man and family.
I didn't make it as a professional ,so I did the next best thing .
Served my country 25 years .
I'm a man utd fan too but I've never seen them live .
One day I hope .
Great story man!
It’s so lovely to see that an ordinary working class lad can become a genuine classy man. Just shows even us ordinary folk can be raised with principles and good manners, love of country, as well as solid family values. The Beckham are carrying on the best of British tradition. Fantastic!
It was an extremely interesting documentary. Thank you for sharing your lives. ❤❤
I need to watch it. That was 15 years ago for me and I still question whether I should just have called it a day - it’s always there.
This was an amazing story! Enjoyed every second.
Amazing documentary, my heart broke the dreadful treatment he got for getting sent off! It was horrible! David is such a strong person, I don't know how he got through such an unbearable time !!
David came across as a very nice man.Bunker Harry could take a leaf from his book.Instead of being such a winer.
Of course, you dive right into the affair when it was a small fraction of the sensational story of Beckham, his phenomenal career, and his resilient and happy family.
Just watched it. This was great! The story telling and editing were se well done...Welll done!
Why is the focus on the infidelity stories instead of the bullying from the British media and the toxic English Fans
I was not shocked at the deranged way the media in the UK treated him, and how a lot of people swam in the media hatred. Not surprising, the British media are probably the lowest of low and doesn't say much for the country. No wonder a lot of Brits want to live in the US. The Harkles will be spitting feathers xx
Loved every minute!
Mm and PH should take note!
Enjoyed documentary. Shocking how public treated them
Meghan and Harry should hang their heads in shame after watching the Beckhams documentary (I am sure they will watch it). It was a brilliant series. Honest, factual and all about the importance of families!!??
Agree 👏👏👏
What do they have to do with any of this? Y’all are so weird 😂
Beckham's parents' support was a huge factor in his resilience, unlike Harry's whole family in his time of need...
One thing and the most important thing, David and Victoria love each other and they love their family..
Absolutely wonderful!
What a brilliant documentary. I was absolutely riveted. Well done Netflix you have a winner here. Let’s have more of this kind of interesting documentary and less of the likes of “ wannabe important ex royals”
I really injoyed the Doco. It gave a wonderful sad and happy life of the Beckham's.
It was a documentary on overcoming hardships and coming out stronger…..the grifters should try to learn something here.
And I am sorry to be comparing a great couple to those two losers.

♥️.. I LOVED the documentary.. I now have more respect for them and I understand their journey and admire them as a Family. 😊💕🇺🇸
Just watched the Beckham Documentary. Loved it!
Loved the documentary ❤!!!
Very wonderful film. Very wonderful people, unlike a Montesito couple I know.
Great documentary, honest and reality. In his falls, he rises, the Beckhams never give up the pressures with grace and humility. This family an epitome of love inspiration for success, Victoria being a huge part in his side. Thats more like it a family royal admiration of today.

They NEVER said they didn't think they could come out the other side of that crisis.
He made a mistake with Rebecca, human beings are not perfect. As for Rebecca she too made a mistake but remember it takes two to tango. Great documentary and a great family United 🙏🙏🙏❤️
They have talked about the affair before. And I thought he had had a few affairs.
Now, this is what you call a documentary, unlike that couple who is constantly whinging ...
I was never a fan of either David or Victoria, but after this, I will be a David Beckham fan.

I agree with you on everything you've pointed out.
Beckham is #1 Netflix series here in Singapore now.
Happy to hear ❤
Really good docu series. 🙌🙌
Never really paid attention to the Beckhams but always thought they were a beautiful couple. However, after watching the Netflix special, I am a huge fan.
Infuriatingly small minded response. Of course trust can be regained.
I enjoyed it totally
The point is did she trust him or the media ?
Him, obviously. They are together and have overcome a lot of crap together.
Well done to the Beckhams. Just imagine what's happening in Monteshiteshow, the shrieking and the sobbing hysterically on the floor 😳🤯 And great reporting btw. The last question was excellent. 👊
Enjoyed it
I remember a Vanity Fair article about the infidelity. They contributed to the article. She was on the cover.
Very lucky Victoria could take him back.
That's a documentary, real, not based on lies and fake pictures like the harkles.🤭
Loved it ❤
I’ve watched the first two episodes and was horrified by how England and the Preston North End clubs treated him.
But I would never ever verbally abuse them
Why would they even do this Netflix documentary rehashing his affair 😮
V needs to stay away from the knife, next Doc will be called. Botched Lips.
Is this GMTV?
Similar & getting more like BBConstipation & SkyNothing
Beckham attended the World Cup last year in a country known for its vile views on human rights. Rod Stewart has just turned down a lucrative deal worth millions to perform in Saudi Arabia another country known for its vile views on human rights. I know who I support
BTW I loved it! I watched it twice.
If they put more botón in their lisps their next child will be Mick Jagger.
So did he actually have an affair or was it false news.
Good docu and I hate football
So disappointing that ye turn comments off on some of your postings? Have courage or no one will respect ye!
No one is perfect, they doing for MONEY. So boo boo
Not important
Does anybody really care? How boring. There just has been. She can't stand he cheated on her. Get over it.
gooed doco awful the way he was treated by his own people ,
Harry and Meghan need to pay attention. Beckham's know how to do it with honesty. Loved this documentary.
Whatever
✨✨🙏🏻
U guys leaks things on Meghan and harry not watching nothing u say or do
In English?
Who cares?
Victoria worked as a barmaid in Empson Surrey before she was in the spice girls. I don't know if its true but I heard a lot off the fella's had a lot of fun with her 😮
If you don’t know it’s true …..!!!!👎
An excellent, interesting authentic Documentary. Real. Human. Also Victoria is so gorgeous and I Think it DISGUSTING that his alleged mistress came out to talk about it. She seems so low llife and cannot compare to Victoria in any way. David Beckman is goregeous and sweet and lovely.
