So another wonderful thing about the 529 is that the Secure Act 2.0 has made a provision to allow families to roll up to $35k one time only into a Roth IRA for the beneficiary. This starts in 2024 and note the account had to have been open 15 plus years before this option is available but it is worth researching. Good luck all 🤗

Average cost for state schools is around 100K for 4 years. And that’s in low cost AL. Where the heck are you getting 30-40K from?
