A trick that I’ve been using for the “edit in live portfolio” problem is I build the page unlinked, saved the sections and then build in live like a Lego stack
i'm trying to transition from webflow to squarespace and have been looking at so many tutorials to try to understand what i can and can't do. this tutorial is so helpful! thanks for breaking things down clearly and for explaining some of the squarespace basics in this video too.
You can hide a page with custom css, but this enabling and disabling of pages in a portfolio issue has been going on three years. Squarespace are money grabbers that don't update anything.
Bro , I was creating an art website, everything was going pretty well till I reached the shop , I uploaded my images but I couldn't resize or crop my images , they were all automatically uploaded in the same size yet my work is not all the same dimensions, how can I crop them in shop ?
When you are in the product detail page (the editor for the product), hover over the image and click the 3 dots, there is an option to edit! Use that and you can crop the photos.
I never leave comments on youtube but I just need to say this video helped me tremulously to create my portfolio. It is so easy to follow all steps, everything that I was trying to find on other youtube videos, but I couldn't, I found here + explained so nice and clear. Thank you so much. Great and easy explanation i just bought a domain and subscribed to squarespace, and started designing my portfolio but after choosing a style i cant open the project one like you did, i mean its clickable but not responsive its not opening do you know why?

Click the settings wheel on the page and scroll a bit on the menu that shows up and at the bottom it says 'set as homepage' (something like that) and you can make it your homepage!

why do you want to transition from webflow to squarespace, i thought webflow has more options?
