I am a Utd fan from India and here we sometimes stay up till 3 in the night to watch the games & many a times I genuinely fell asleep watching Utd under LVG play which isn't the case now. We were going nowhere with him because even if the board hadn't sacked him there was only 1 year left on his contract after which he said that he would retire. And about the young players, except for Rashford & to an extent Lingard how many of them have had good careers so far? Maybe Michael Keane at Everton but apart from that? He sold RVP, Chicharito and played Rooney, Martial & even Fellaini as strikers. But when Rooney & Martial were injured & there were no options only then did he hand a debut to Rashford. Players have said it that he heavily stifled their football. We couldn't break the small teams down when they came to Old Trafford and once Utd went 1 goal down you could never see a equalizer or a winner coming. Jose's football was still better than LVG. Although right now the correct man is in the job because he understands Man Utd ethos & culture unlike both Jose & LVG.

As a Liverpool fan I don't want Utd to change managers any time soon because it's funny seeing them struggle. But Utd do need and can do better with getting a similar manager on Klopp and Pep's level. Yes when OGS first came in he steadied the ship and stopped Utd from being a far bigger joke then they are now (like what Dalglish did with Liverpool) but OGS I feel is not the long term solution they require.

I remember Klopp in his first 2 years, Liverpool was struggling but they were in transition. Liverpool fans did not mind that cus they knew Klopp was doing sth right: i.e. the playing style even though he had average players. I dont mind giving ole 2-3 years to build united but so far he has not shown us a style of play, other than defend and counter-attack. Is that the vision? I love Ole but he's not ready enough to lead united. Maybe he can come good later but he's not ready and very naive
Klopp has got Liverpool to cup finals every year he has been at liverpool
