GOLDEN BEACH (Chrissi Ammoudia) - Beaches, Bars, Restaurants - Thassos, Greece

Golden Beach or Chrissi Ammoudia, is the largest beach and one of the most popular of the Thassos.
It is located in the eastern side of the island. It is one of the best on the island and has been awarded a Blue Flag.
It is called “Chrisi” which mean golden, by the colour that is reflected on the sand.
It is also known as Avlakia or Skala Panagia.
