That Ford F-100 looks lush in that spectraflame orange and those white-wall wheels. Great engine detail too. And i wouldn't mind seeing the Datsun 620 getting the RLC treatment as well. Thanks for the showcase.
Im a young collector and new to collecting and started with RLC this past year and I was luckily able to pick one of these up. Love the details in this casting and could not pass it up. Also one of my favorite colors is orange so I really couldn't pass.

If you're a collector from Texas like me, you grab all the trucks you can find. It is also great that this release is in Texas Longhorn colors. I got hit with the backorder, so Mattel is saying mine will ship around 3/22
Over here In KTM town we barley get the regulars, every year we get 4 to 5 box mix of each year, but happy watching you videos.

You didn't need luck. It took like 20 minutes to sell out. There were 25k of them. Not a small number. Lots of us passed on it. If someone really wanted it and clicked in early they should have gotten it barring any technical issues.

The Datsun 620 was in the car culture trucks series it had the moon disk real riders. I love this truck. I hope to see this in another color way. Like how they had the c10 in teal.

3:56 the Slick Rides ones were the first retail premium releases of it in that Holley deco, in 2010.

I like them all but I'll never see them here in N.S Canada. I would like to see hot wheels make a collection of the vehicles from the movie grease like they are first then spectra flame:)

I keep mine in packaging/bubble. Any loss in value taking them out? Only a 100 or so but storage and displaying is now an issue. Why I haven't bought a "display" case per se.

Texas Drive Em definitely did not debut in RLC, heh. 2009 Classics Series 5 was the debut. RLC release was 2012.
Hi Po Hauler, F150 Raptor w/ opening features, 1962 Ford F100, Chevy C10 w/ suspension are the main pickups i can think of that debuted in RLC.
I think he just means their first appearance in rlc like their rlc debut

People hated on the green/chrome Silverado when it was released, now people clamoring to get one, I get it was 3000 released so you have the resellers pushing the 2ndary market but i believe you can't pass on these. I Can't wait for this one to show up to put it next to my Silverado.
Most people did not hate on this. It may have not been their thing. I passed on it because it's a low rider. Stock height or lifted is more to my liking. Some people do not buy based on possible future value. If i did that my house would be filled up with too much shit. Anyhow as you say that Silverado was only 3I so yeah its a money car. This one will never reach that height of value. Well not anytime soon. If it ever reached $2000 it would take far longer than it took the silverado. Most of us would be dead, near dead or too old to give a shit anymore.😂
Look at the Candy Striper Drag bus. Many thought it would be a future money car. But with how many?? 20k?? Made it's been dropping like a stone because so many out there. You can get it for under $100 now.

Most involved with RLC club are ebay scalpers . I paid for a membership to never be able to get anything always out of stock or other memeber's come first. Whichever the ebayer's are killing a hobby and robbing folks at the same time.
It's ugly. I passed on it.
Rlc program is overhyped beyond belief. The program is a scam. The only vehicles that every gain value are the extreme low printed cars which always sell out within 10 minutes. 25,000 or more makes are lucky to sustain the value paid for them.
The days of 7k or below are gone. Yes 25k counts for the most part wont be worth much in the future.
