A Labrador has transformed his disabled partner's life by learning how to pay at tills, load the laundry and collect money from cash machines.
Chloe Bellotti, 29, from Suffolk, suffers with spinal muscular atrophy - a genetic condition that causes muscle weakness - meaning she relies on an electric wheelchair for mobility and requires around the clock care.
But optimistic Chloe can’t thank her assistant dog enough as Morris, five, the black Labrador, enough for giving her ‘normality and independence’ for the first time in almost three decades.
She can now carry out day to day duties with the help of her four-legged friend who is able to load the washing machine, collect money from the cashpoint and even pay for the groceries - to name a few.

Morris must have been really expensive, he's just so well-trained. Lucky they could afford him! He is an incredibly focused and obedient dog. I hope he gets all the appreciation and love he deserves for his life devoted to helping!

You're lucky you're rich. If you are poor as many of the disabled persons are, they just stay in bed.
I know that insurance doesn't cover them in the US. But I'm not sure about the UK. It is entirely possible that a service dog can be donated. But you are right about basically needing to be rich to get one.
