This Nove brand and models have grown on me. The really thin quartz model is pretty cool as well . I like how unique, nothing like it out there. Might have to grab one.
that case is just wild wow, very cool. so much texture and detail on this watch, really impressive. love the understated logo on dial, very classy ...wish some other brands would try that. thanks for another enjoyable interesting video HWR !
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR yes, it is very unique, glad that you have one of these, i think they will be quite collectible in the future ! all the best to you my friend :)
Love the case design and bracelet ,not so smitten by the dial but it's very different and may grow on me .Very nice change from usual and tho not cheap it's pretty good value for a Swiss made unique looking watch.
IT looks like an AP design dial but more minimalistic I would say. Interesting though. But Well I do Not really like AP's.. for me IT is Not a "god tear" watch.. smiling.
Great watch and terrific review.I would love a DLC coated version of this watch as it seems like the bracelet would scratch easily. Also would love better lume too.
Great review and I have to say a very interesting piece. Love the overall design particularly the case. I'm not familiar with the movement. In the price category of $600+ it has lots of competition ... however its design should give it a leading advantage for those who happen to like that feature. Thank you again for your great work 👏👍🙏
I would definitely go for black ip interesting watch to say the least and that movement since its rerelease it's very hard to find in any watch worth every penny always appreciate your honest reviews Thanks Mate
The case design has some similarities with an Invicta Subaqua Specialty. At least to my eyes. Really like this watch. Checked out their website and I'm liking what I see. I'm a big guy so I like oversized watches as much as I like 40mm watches. Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the video. I like the dial. The bracelet looks off... But the more I see, it's warming up to me. Rather the bezel didn't have those 4 things. That dial, I really like. Did I mention that? Lololol
Nove offer something different, the stick to their design language. The bracelet looks very interesting and the caseback with that movement is a real feast for the eyes!
Excellent review. My opinion on it is that it looks like tool watch with a practical rugged style case (too much polishing though, would have liked more brushed detail on the sides), but the lack of minute markers destroys the whole purpose of the watch as does the mediocre lume setup. It's a dress watch dial in a tool watch case and it just doesn't work. The bracelet is nice. I would pay $600 for it if it had proper long life lumed hour and minute markers. What's the point of 200m water resistance when you won't see anything on the dial when you hit 50 metres. I couldn't take this watch as a backup to my dive computer so 200m is meaningless.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR That's true. Probably would have been better to spend a bit more money on the lume instead of the water resistance then. But definitely there's a huge mismatch between the dial and the case design. If it's not a diver, it's a field watch, so the same applies. If it's actually meant to be a dress watch it has the wrong case, and vice versa. They got this one all wrong.
If ever there was an obvious case for a no date version... Stunning dial ruined by that imho Very cool watch otherwise, damn shame. Good review, thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWRsorry, I meant Formex watches. Have a look online. Jody, from just one more watch reviewed it. I was absolutely thrilled, strange name for a watch brand, but so much quality! Not cheap though. Frontex is the border patrol......)
I like the design but it's a little too big for me. What's up with the adjustment on the bracelet?? It looks like you were in a hurry and pulled all the links out of one side. Why not adjust it so you can wear it? Is it too big for you too?
I have adjusted it so I can wear it. I've done it so that the Nove logo on the bracelet is centred on the underside of my wrist. It fits perfectly on my 7" wrist. Which is lucky, as there's no microadjust.
Actually pretty impressed with the design of this one. The domed crystal and compact lug to lug are really appealing. Very nice looking movement also.
Nove are making some interesting pieces aren't they?

They're definitely doing their own thing.
Nice looking watch, love the dial, lug to lug not overly large, interesting design on the bracelet. Enjoyed the video...

The dial does grow on you. For a unique design Swiss watch it is good value for money.
Well the case design of the case is like from some custom in ear headset manufacturers. OK durable as it looks like and sounds 😉
IT looks like an AP design dial but more minimalistic I would say. Interesting though. But Well I do Not really like AP's.. for me IT is Not a "god tear" watch.. smiling.

I can see the resemblance. In comparison this is actually a small watch 😆

So do you like the dial or not then? 😜
Wow.not for me but a great looking watch. Love it all .Thanks mate.even the price is goodcompared to the effort they have put in to it.🤺
For a pretty unique looking Swiss Made watch with this uncommon movement it's a good price I think.
Very nice classy looking watch. Tempted.
It really is.
I must admit, I think it's appealing.
It's a handsome piece isn't it?
Very 'architectural' in the design of the case. Certainly an eye-catching piece.
That's a very actuate description of it. It's a beautiful case.

I completely agree.
Very very nice and original !
I think so too.
Interesting looking watch 😎😎 like the lugs 👍👍

That's a fair point. It's not really a diver though, as it doesn't have a functional bezel either.

That's a shame. What is it about the dial you don't like then?
Would you call the dial a champagne colour?
Yeah that's a better description of it.
is this the same company that makes that ultra thin ultra ugly dive watch?
I think you're on about the Nove Trident.
