    On 13 September, 1960, Senators John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Baines Johnson appeared at a presidential campaign rally in the parking lot of Chance Vought Aircraft in Grand Prairie, TX. Noted for his aversion to wearing hats, JFK was presented with a cowboy hat that he first said he "didn't have the guts to wear," but at the conclusion of the appearance, placed it on his head and declared "I'm going to wear this in the St. Patrick's Day parade in Boston."

    Lyndon Johnson was the most crooked man looking indifferent. While john Kennedy was all grace power and charisma.He was an ideal president like sean Connery was as james Bond.The best part in kennedy was no nonsense attitude.When a journalist asked Kennedy whether he would like to be projected as vice president? He flatly refused as he was so confident.Wish he had lived longer ad he was dear friend of Nehru.

    Kinda hard to tell for sure, but it surely looks like Lyndon and JFK arrived in the same car. If so, that’s highly unusual. I always thought
    a president and VP couldn’t travel together for security, succession reasons - either on the same airplane together or in a motorcade.

      You are more clever than you think. But I am not going to elaborate on that. Look up Johnson's personality. It's possible that he was "gathering" information, like he usually did. "The Treatment" was also one of his trademarks, but actually were acts of intimidation.

    • @richardcassidy9536
      @richardcassidy9536 4 роки тому +2

      True about the whole country ruined by LBJ. But Kennedy was forced by circumstance to chose LBJ as stunning mate to carry the South. The so called 'Harvards' in JFK's cabinet called LBJ Rufus Cornpone.JFK called him Riverboat. Both names indicative of the contempt in which they held LBJ. RFK had LBJ's measure, hated him and everything LBJ was. And was not afraid to confront LBJ for his phone, opportunistic, slimy, slippery duplicities. JBJ was the architect who ushered in an era of darkness in the USA.

      You cannot deny that LBJ was a great president and helped the country a lot. He passed the Civil Rights Bill and made the Great Society, but unfortunately the Vietnam War was a dark shadow on his legacy. Overall, he is still a great president and helped the country a lot.
