Wow, they all turned out so beautiful. This would make great Christmas gift ideas. I am seeing my granddaughter Sunday; I think I will make her an H for her initial. Thanks for another great idea and way to improve on my stamping.

Hi. Those came out so nice!! I just got my fancy soldering kit so I plan to play all weekend with it so this might be a good practice idea. I love that you mentioned the Runes, I have a book also so maybe I'll try them. I was wondering, please, is it possible to set flat backed rhinestones into solder? I have a weird obsession with sparkly pretties, & I scored a crap ton of small rhinestones that I wondered how I would use it..... besides resin. Just wondering, thank you again!
@@juniperpearle thanks so much! I’m thrilled to hear that. You finally got your set up and I’m sure you’ll have a blast this weekend! I thought the Runes would be a great idea for the shops.
Yes, I have seen a couple different artists on UA-cam working with rhinestones in soft soldering. I believe the rhinestones have to be in there proper setting but just search in UA-cam for “soft soldering rhinestones“ and you will find a couple different artists! Good luck & let me know how it goes! Thanks for your continued support! 🙏😊💖
So creative! I am just loving your helpful videos. Thank you so much!
I am having a problem with a soft soldering project. I can not get the solder to remelt on the pendant I am working on. Solder from the spool melts fine. I have cleaned everything (the piece, the tip of the iron, fresh flux), but still nothing. Can the solder freeze up if over worked?
What iron are you using & what temperature are you working at? You shouldn’t have any problems with getting the solder to melt or remelt!
@@karensintuitivejewelry I am using a Hakko fx-601 with the temp in between the 360 and 410
@@wyckedwitch66 The only other thing I can think of to try is to hold your iron on your piece for a few more seconds to allow your piece time to get up to temperature! If your “re-working” a project it’s dead cold & will take more time to get hit enough to re-melt. You can also try turning up your temperature too! Good luck & let me know if this works!
@@karensintuitivejewelry Still no luck. It just won’t remelt. I held the iron on it for awhile and slowly turned the heat up to the max. It is like it is frozen☹️ fresh solder melts fine, but will not attach to the “frozen” solder, no matter how much flux is used. I swear if something crazy is going to happen it’s going to happen to me.
It was just a practice piece, so nothing was lost and I will continue on.
@@wyckedwitch66 I just sent you a private video on this subject
