    The evolution of Tyler’s voice is amazing. You notice the difference…from the 70’s to the 80’s to the 90’s. It got, I dunno, raspier…rougher. But it was like he was reinventing himself every decade. Phenomenal vocalist.

    I graduated high school the year after this was released. WHAT A TIME TO BE A TEENAGER. There will likely never be another time in history that will hold the meaning of this era of the 60's and 70's. It's to bad the youth of today will never know the mold breaking freedoms that came with this time.

      No, they are tracked and trailed by that damn cell phone. The freedom of actually getting away with friends. Life has aways been complicated, some things have been made easier, somethings not. When this song came out I just finished Junior high & in a few months I'll start High school 09/04/1973...Aerosmith started & started performing in 1970.....It frustrates me 😡 that people won't or refuse take a few minutes to do their homework before commenting....When you comment on something you know nothing about you come off as someone that's a BIG KNOW IT ALL....& there's nothing worse than a BIG KNOW IT ALL....From my generation to your's ✌️ & ❤️

      "Dream On" came out 3 years before I was born, but I found Aerosmith when I was 13 or so. Local rock radio introduced me to "Dream On", and truly if you didn't know it was Steven Tyler, you wouldn't know it was Steven Tyler, even in the late 80's when I was entering my teenage years. But this is a FABULOUS song!

      One of the five greatest rock songs in history. But what happened to this verse: "I know nobody knows, from where it comes, from where it goes - I know everybody sins, you got to lose before you can win..." -?!? It should (and does, in the version I'm most familiar with) follow "Everybody's got their dues in life to pay..."

    Best scream ever in rock music, in my humble opinion.
    I remember seeing Steve on (x factor/got takent, whichever) as a judge, audition time. Girl wanted to sing this with him. He screamed those "dream on"s while basically slouched in his chair, arms folded. No visible strain, nothing! Steve Tylor, legend!

    I was one-year-old when this song came out back in 72. Now I am 51 and I just actually heard about this song around 5 months ago. I wish I would have learned the song about this phone a long time ago but it doesn't matter because this beautiful song is still relevant and well sung

    My daughter played this song in the car today, I really like a lot of Aerosmith's music, but I had no idea this was by them because I couldn't believe Steven Tyler was singing. I just watched this film clip and was like, oh wow!!

    I love this song. Steve Tylers voice is as epic as the song is. What a legend. I think it speaks volumes that this song is as popular now as it was 50 years ago.

    This song got me through Iraq. It was the last thing I heard every night before going to sleep. It taught me that we never know when we will be called up to "pay our dues" and that kept the fear from consuming me every day. Words will never convey the meanings that songs hold for us.
