- This is the fourth video in our series This time we chat with Marie Régnier, designer of the Stries hat, and Lotta Löthgren, designer of the Klänge scarf. We learn about their path toward knitting and designing. Marie is a new and prolific designer, with designs published in several knitwear publications. Lotta is a yarn dyer, yarn shop owner and designer. She is releasing her first book, Observations, published by Laine Magazine this August.
They give us some unpopular opinions on their favorite and most hated stitches and knitting techniques. Can brioche even be too squishy?! We also discover that barbecue skewers can be useful in knitting!

Fun and very interesting! I enjoy hearing about other knitting journey paths! So many different ideas/thoughts, but I love how much knitters/crafters have in common as well! I'm in agreement with Lotta about brioche. I'm not crazy about the look of the fabric. 🥴
I join Lotta in not liking brioche, I find it very often looks a bit irregular.
