Maybe you're indeed late from the training session, that makes it two and I'd freak out and be extra careful now that I'd have 2 missed whereabouts. But being ignorant or careless at this point, it's either plain stupid or doped.
Great vid. Sadly, I disagree that it's a "bad idea" to miss a test; as the saying goes, "never take a test you know you'll fail", and Katir has clearly concluded that the 2 year ban and plausible deniability of a whereabouts violation is easier to return from than a failed test & 4 year suspension. Just look how quickly people moved on from others who skipped tests (eg Coleman) vs those who got caught (eg Gatlin).
I'm sure the 2 years ban is by the rules, but it sounds so lenient in the face of such brazen behavior. How can you ever trust him to be (and to have been) clean?
Thanks TRP. A very delicate and touchy subject. A training program that involves PED's can be isolated in regard to the leadup process towards a common goal/objective of peaking at a certain time for certain events. So, to "train" the body over time (instead of the "instant" ones just before the big race/s) requires repeated application over generally a 3-5 month timeframe. Then while the body "enjoys" the enhanced benefits to make them semi-permanent, it then takes a number of months for the body to expel any trace of the particular PED, before they can safely undertake testing to provide a reading that is within normal limits. Meaning, a number of athletes will be taking the longterm PED's to enhance strength/stamina, in the year before a big meet like the Olympics. Frankly, I'm surprised more haven't been recorded. Oh, the "instant" PED's are easily detected so if the athletes are successful, they will be tested and discovered. Meaning, detection is obvious and avoiding being caught and DQD almost impossible. (I said "almost" LOL. They will still try!)
Yup, it would actually be a smart strategy for transformation purposes as some if these enhancers have the ability to permanently alter once genes and they will continue to get advantages for as long as they compete without ever testing positive. The system will show up and they will be listed as “suspicious numbers” but never test positive. There are many athletes who are listed as “suspicious” or “most likely doping” under the leaked WADA data but have never triggered a positive test. This is why lifetime bans are the only ethical way, but that will never happen as all these guys are doing whatever it takes and “getting help” on the inside as they’re “good” donors of WADA.

I kept saying it to my friends, always knew something suspect about his achievements in the last year and tge difference in times are ridiculously unhuman.
In some ways, he still got away with it. If he'd tested positive for doping the ban is typically four years and recent race results can be taken back. In this case, his ban is only two years and all recent race results remain his. The results may be questioned, but they're still his.
Telling lies never works now that everything can be tracked digitally. The rules are there to catch out exactly this kind of behaviour. Athletics at the top level is properly professional now and if you wish to avail yourself of the money, medals and prizes available, you have to play ball with officialdom. Two year ban isn’t enough in my view.

Part of their job is to keep testing appointments. Missing one can happen but after that, they need to be perfect. I don't know how any athlete can "accidentally" allow three missed tests to happen.
It’s a shame but he got caught. Surprised more haven’t been. One small note, when you talk about country to country travel in Europe, passports aren’t a consideration any more. Unless you’re going to Switzerland or England. People do fly all over, drive all over without one. And Spain to Portugal is like a 45 minute flight depending on where he lives.
There is little doubt that doping and PED are unfortunately used, and at times people test positive for these substances. But when someone is evasive about testing it raises a lot of red flags. Couple this with a history of sporting entities within Spain in particular having issues with PEDs and other red flags for anti-doping, even this last month the World Anti-doping Agency raising serious concerns about Spain’s anti-doping agency, and we have room for serious concern.
This video exposes how an athlete can use doping and get away with it. You have two strikes when it comes to avoiding a doping test, so if you get one strike on whereabout, then stop your dope regime and let the dope flush out of the body. you might get one more strike while waiting for a safe time to perform a doping test but often not. Then note the dates that you had a whereabout failure so that you don't touch anything before that. If you have one strike, then you can begin using doping again about two weeks before, because you have some leniency when it comes to them again then. The other thing to be aware of is those that "ends their careers" when they are in there late twenties. They can do a two year insane traning session, fully doped in the shadows just in order to flush the doping out of their system in a olympic season and go big for four years hiking on that, just like Justin Gatlin probably did, but cannot be proven.

I’ve posted this before and will again: placings by Katir or others running for countries (like Spain) without drug enforcement should have an asterisk. Based on his sudden improvement, Nobody doubts this druggy is dirty and we know why he chose to run for Spain. Finally the blatant cheating is curtailed but will not make up for athletes cheated out of their placings by this druggie. 2 years is Complete bullshit.
For few year now my friends, who run and race at elite level, have been telling me that this guy is 100% doping..... I think it becomes obvious to the people close to him and so people knew...... this report just confirms it. He is no only a cheat and a fake, his excuses and efforts to cover up also shows he is a simpleton and a liar. And the same must be said for his father who tried to coverup. 2 years seems way too weak of a punishment for someone who stole a living and fame from other athletes that worked so hard. I honestly think he needs to be fined and all his achievements from 2020 should be removed (that would be all of them).................. lastly it also shows that the anti-doping people cant really detect the latest illegal drugs which are used because he only got caught for missing tests.
Yea he guilty of taking something. With an olympic year coming up from 2023 with him evading the test no athlete would miss to get tested and mess up missing the olympics. Ive heard no other athlete so far with issues like this by missing all 3 attempts. A shame too, id like to know what he got on to boost his performance.
Great analysis. I was willing to give him the benefit of doubt. But after all of that, my mind is made up. This guy was hiding something. I have heard other testimonials of athletes that missed a test and all of them expressed the stress to not miss another one. You would do anything to ensure you do not miss that second one, let alone a third one.
It’s a good thing. Runner like him has nothing to do in the track and field. I hate cheaters. And, he’s definitely one. Shame on him! Congratulations for all the doping control agencies for doing correctly their jobs. 🎉
This guy is dirty, plain and simple... The ban should be longer than 2 years, even with the Olympics and Worlds taking place during that time. There have to be much more stringent sanctions put in place for these people, or the penalty won't be stiff enough to offset the potential huge reward that would result if the doping were somehow undetected. His personal records should all be stricken from the records, as well.
I can understand that it is necessary to test athletes, but goodness, to have your whereabouts listed every minute of the day? Can they just give them GPS trackers as there is no privacy anyway?
I'd heard speculation that he was juiced over a year ago. I always liked him and really didn't want to beleive it. But missing three test within a 12 month period, knowing the Olympics are in a few months. Well.., that is pretty suspicious

The 12.41 last year seemed desperate. Next Devynn Charlton, she got tired of being an also ran and now set two world records out of the blue.
That last strike was so sloppy it's disgraceful. Just take the 2 years and come back stronger; and cleaner.
He can always try Bobsledding
Was it worth it ?
We always know their whereabouts. It's at the front of the race.
GOOD
It’s a good thing. Runner like him has nothing to do in the track and field. I hate cheaters. And, he’s definitely one. Shame on him!
Congratulations for all the doping control agencies for doing correctly their jobs. 🎉
Damn. I thought he was a really good runner too. This video shows a different kind of person
Not surprised at all. Doping is way more common than most people think.
All high performance athletes dope!! I think that sports should stop wasting time, money, and energy trying to fight it. Let the best chemist win.
2 years is not enough
It's been an open secret in the pro community that Katir's been dirty for years now. Good to see him gone, hopefully for good
He’s on EPO. Next is Jakob
Another partecipant of the Enhanced Games.
He went from a 13:22 to a 12:45 in under a year. possible, but compounded with this, I guess he's doping.
😂 insanely dumb take. Do some research before you speak.
Good news is that he will have that extra time to spend with his girlfriend ❤
😂
Mo Katir from **cough cough Spain.
Mo has been juicing up like Kipchoge, Galen , Hall, Mantz, Cole, Teare too💩💩💩
They should test him and od positive ban forever
If
Cheaters eventually get caught simple.
what about coleman missing all those test? he never got banned
He did but it got reduced to 18 months since he got tested 13 times and had a better explanation than this guy in the video lol
It's partly because of BS like this I have no interest in elite sports. So much cheating going on in many ways in any sport.
A 2-year ban seems light. Other athletes have gotten worse for doing less.
He definitely could have avoided this. IF he wasn’t doping he would have been fine, that simple.
I'd heard speculation that he was juiced over a year ago. I always liked him and really didn't want to beleive it. But missing three test within a 12 month period, knowing the Olympics are in a few months. Well.., that is pretty suspicious
He should have moved to Norway where they're always a step ahead.
