I ordered a proto Wren when it was first availabe and used it as dedicated throwing putter for several weeks. Flight characteristics and hand feel reminded me of a late 80's /early 90's beadless Aviar, a stable straight flyer with a small amount of fade when fresh. Really liked this disk so I bought 2 more. Big fan of the white Strato plastic - feels good in my hand, medium firm with a bit of tack.
I’ve often wondered if overstable discs sell better than stable or under stable discs. It seems like he made discs that fly well for him. The thing is how many people can throw like him? Not many.
My Cardinal feels like it has almost no glide. If I try to line drive it it just wants to dive into the ground immediately.
Definitely interested in the Ching video...I really don't know anything about them.

The Cardinal became my forehand approach disc as soon as I tried it out. The Wren is a true point and shoot putter and made the bag for distances within 30 feet. The owl I’m not a huge fan of and the juju just feels awkward

They are not stable. They are overstable. Stable is not short for overstable. They are two different things. There are different degrees of overstable understsble and stable. Understable wants to turn. Overdtable wants to fade. A stable disc will just go straight. The more stable a disc is the straighter it goes. Stable means it’s stable, meaning it doesn’t want to turn or fade. Rant over.
