My husband and I are also Michiganders in Tennessee ❤ We’re in Spring Hill - I’m from Southfield, he’s from Rochester Hills. Your video just brought back so many feels! Meijers (loved the Purple Cow as a kid!), the Blue Water Bridge, Coney Islands… and Faygo pop! Hope you are having a great time! I would kill to take a swim in the St Clair River right now - it is UNBELIEVABLE hot here in TN right now 🥵 That grey and blue Lions hat was the best one - glad you got it 🦁🏈

That was my choice too when i lived across the border in Port Huron...Rock n Rye 😋. I loved Coney Island across from McMorran Arena. Many many yrs ago my sis n I skinny dipped at Lighthouse beach n then the guys hid our clothes 😂

We re in Omaha and it’s in the 90 s, and the same temps at home in Jefferson City TN

I was born in Port Huron! My sister brother in law and their family still lives there. I’m in Alabama now! Meijer is good but not my favorite store. I like Walmart! Faygo is great!
We lived in Port Huron for 8 years. Loved it and miss it!
You should try one of the river cruises they look so nice !!

There's a Meijer just north of Buckees on 75 near Lexington KY. I liv in Ohio and stop there for gas and groceries on my way to the Smokies each year. I have to eat low sodium and they have lots of options I can't find when I get to Sevierville.
Come up to lake superior and swim lol you'll have a blast 🎉😂

Those ships come to Muskegon Michigan. We lodged them at heritage landing.
I stayed at the St. Clair Inn. There was a bad snow storm on February 10, 2012. I could not make it to Brown City so I got a room there for the night
Better made chips are the best!
HP sauce came from london England. It's a malt sauce the English use on meats sausage etc.
You can get most everything seen in that store at the dollar tree lol I get the windmill cookies at the dollar tree lol 😆 😊

Love St. Clair! We would float down the St. Clair River from Port Huron to St. Clair. Is the River Crab still open? We went there for special occasions. We would swim at Lakeview Park in Northern Port Huron. Really miss living in Michigan.

You're right, Will. I'm from Louisiana and if I hadn't been to the UP years ago, I wouldn't know what Meijer is!! It's hotter in Michigan than it is down here right now in S.E. Louisiana. Only got to 86 today.

When we lived in Indiana and my kids were teens they both worked at the local Meijer store. They loved it.
My family lived in Harper Woods not far from there. Visited there many times growing up.
92 degrees where I live would be considered low.

The water temperature at Lighthouse beach this last weekend was 65° F feels good when it's 90° outside.

Hi Will and Dawn you are not far from me , across Lake St. Clair at Lighthouse Cove on the Canadian side. Just 30 minutes from Chatham ,Ontario. Its going to be hot all week, crazy weather for sure. Have fun and be safe.
Great video Dawn. And Will. You all stay safe and hydrated here in Michigan. I live in the West side of the mitten and I'm avoiding the heat as much as I can. Gonna be mid 90s Saturday and that's ridiculous HOT.
And Gibson Guitars company factory was in Kalamazoo Michigan till it left town in 1984. It had already opened a factory in Nashville Tennessee in 1975. It shifted all it's production to the Nashville factory when it left Kalamazoo Michigan.

It would be cool if you went to Belle Isle while you're in Michigan. We went their on the wknds. Mom and dad would fish and us kids would swim at the beach. Good memories

we like shopping Meijers when we visit family too, not sure if I have had a Coney Dog, my GoPro overheated a bunch during the heat wave this past week, I had to let it cool down by opening the battery door and then close the door and restart recording
