    Thank you Tom for all these amazing videos. I have watched all of them, each one is precise and to the point. I have never seen anyone explain tennis breaking down in such simple and easy to implement words. And the concepts that you teach is consistent for both forehand and backhand - which makes it so much easier to remember and apply. Thank you once again. Keep posting more tennis enlightening videos.

    Thanks Tom, you are an inspiration to me, a role model... I wish I could make it to 70 the way you did! And your teachings are awesome! I remember watching some videos of yours on nutrition. Do you take any vitamins or supplements (magnesium, B12, fish oil) to help you keep yourself fit?
    I am 56, and I've been dealing with golfers' elbow for the last 4 months, such a nasty injury... Any tips on how to get rid of it? Thanks Tom! Best regards from Rio de Janeiro

    Thanks for the tips. Hopefully I’ll become more consistent with the backhand. It’s a prayer every time I hit it. Thus I play no matches since it would be frustrating.

    You're not moving your left hand up like Federer after hitting the ball. You don't think it's necessary to do this?

    Can you convince people that your techniques work by naming your students that have turned pro? I have found your teaching very useful for a non pro like myself.

    • @Fundamentalsoftennis
      @Fundamentalsoftennis  5 років тому +3

      Thank you! I've coached Tour players.... but never had a student turn pro. College players... yes plenty.

    Why isn't the grip called "eastern" when on number 2? #1 is continental, #2 is eastern, #3 is semi-western?

    • @Fundamentalsoftennis
      @Fundamentalsoftennis  6 років тому +1

      If you see my explanation of grips at www.ctwacademy.com it will help tremendously... it's the only way you will completely understand grips.... trying to explain it in text will only be more confusing to you.
      All the best,
      Tom

    hi tom can you make video how to change the grip on your tennis racquet? that will help me a lot...

  •  4 роки тому +1

    In my opinion: your body moves during the swing while it should be stable, with movement just of the arm and shoulder and the bodyy just rotates, doesn’t move. Secondly, when putting the racket back, it should point to the sky. Your racket is nearly horizontal, so you cannot coil properly and lose speed in the swing. Check Warinka backhand.
