No-one is beyond help and I don't think JoJo is inherently a bad person and I don't feel she deserves all the nastiness and cruel criticism she's been getting. However, I do wish she could gain some more self-awareness and someone close to her would step in and show her/explain to her how damaging her words/actions can be (just like I desperately wish that for Abby too, who constantly plays the victim without any acknowledgement, let alone remorse, for how her words/actions have deeply affected others). It's something we're all guilty of from time to time and I feel we all need to have a little more self-awareness and empathy. I just wish JoJo would stop dismissing other people's experiences that are different from her own and acting as if they're in the wrong for feeling that way, just because that's not how she feels. She still has a lot of growing up to do, and I can only imagine how difficult that must be to navigate when in the public eye where everything you say & do is disected, criticised, misinterpreted and your character constantly questioned and cruelly criticised. Unpopular opinion here: I agree with Jojo. In the clip, Christie was asked if she still talked to Gianna. She could have simply said no, but instead went on to say that Gia is not nice. There was an episode where Christie was criticizing Gia's choreo to her face and Christie was constantly saying how Chloe's choreo was not good compared to Maddie's .... if you constantly throw shade at a choreographer, don't be so surprised if the choreographer starts to be mean toward you and your daughter, this is human nature. secondly, Chloé 100% has her career bc of Abby. She is not the most talented actress and her dancing went way downhill. She is not very charismatic or a super pretty to be a model. She is a very average person who garnered America's hearts because of being compared to Maddie. If she were not constantly compared to Maddie, she likely would not have had half of the success she has. Maddie was clearly a better dancer ... Maddie just had "it" and that may have been because her mother scheduled the privates. Kalhani and Brynn were also just naturally amazing dancers. I used to dance and I was not a favourite. My dance teachers would mock me because of my melt downs instead of helping me with my confidence. They would literally laugh in my face and tell me I'm not good enough all the time. I never got the same opportunities as the other girls. I was also bullied as a child by my school teachers and even experienced police brutality. If any of these events got me to have acting opportunities and to garner a huge platform, I can tell you, I would not be crying about it or playing the victim. Actual victims are silent and genuinely move on. The dance mom girls have no idea how lucky they are. They act as if no one else in the world goes through traumatic events. The reality is, everyone does. The majority of people just don't get to become rich and famous off of it and continue to use it to get fans.

Christi has said that when the show started both Christi and Kelly had been ready to leave the studio. Problem is that the contract that Abby gets them to sign says that you need to stay for the whole competition season and if you are a title holder you need to come back for the next competition season. If you leave then you will owe Abby $100,000. Christi and Kelly were still there because Chloe and Brooke had been title holders the previous season. Neither of them signed Abby's contract for season 4 of Dance Moms but they still had to dance there anyway because of the contract with Lifetime. That is why Abby was so much worse to Chloe during season 4 and Abby has even admitted it.

im sorry but people have different opinions based of THEIR experience and its not gonna be the same as sb else's for example JoJo's. JoJo and her mom was there during the time Chloe and christi were. so ofc chloe and her mom is gonna think something different. JoJo shouldve understood that she didnt experience the show the way Chloe and Christi did, so it might have been a lot different. Unpopular opinion here: I agree with Jojo. In the clip, Christie was asked if she still talked to Gianna. She could have simply said no, but instead went on to say that Gia is not nice. There was an episode where Christie was criticizing Gia's choreo to her face and Christie was constantly saying how Chloe's choreo was not good compared to Maddie's .... if you constantly throw shade at a choreographer, don't be so surprised if the choreographer starts to be mean toward you and your daughter, this is human nature.
secondly, Chloé 100% has her career bc of Abby. She is not the most talented actress and her dancing went way downhill. She is not very charismatic or a super pretty to be a model. She is a very average person who garnered America's hearts because of being compared to Maddie. If she were not constantly compared to Maddie, she likely would not have had half of the success she has. Maddie was clearly a better dancer ... Maddie just had "it" and that may have been because her mother scheduled the privates. Kalhani and Brynn were also just naturally amazing dancers.
I used to dance and I was not a favourite. My dance teachers would mock me because of my melt downs instead of helping me with my confidence. They would literally laugh in my face and tell me I'm not good enough all the time. I never got the same opportunities as the other girls. I was also bullied as a child by my school teachers and even experienced police brutality. If any of these events got me to have acting opportunities and to garner a huge platform, I can tell you, I would not be crying about it or playing the victim. Actual victims are silent and genuinely move on. The dance mom girls have no idea how lucky they are. They act as if no one else in the world goes through traumatic events. The reality is, everyone does. The majority of people just don't get to become rich and famous off of it and continue to use it to get fans.

But there's a video going around saying that as most people would know, abby pinched those girls until they bled and gianna, kind of helped, she didn't pinch the girls, but she basically was telling abby who to pinch, so i'm sure christie wasn't saying.Giana's gianna's not nice to christy.I'm sure she was actually saying gianna's not nice to chloe
@MaryMagdalne then honestly, Abby and Gianna could have been sued for child abuse. If they had that many witnesses, I doubt it would be a hard case to file. At the end of the day, the mothers could have easily taken their minor children off the show if it got too abusive.

I'm pretty sure that's why she went to jail rather than money fraud. Though she did do tax fraud, i'm sure that they said that she didn't.So people would still watch the show.Not all people who are prosecuted actually get their crimes put up even famous people
@MaryMagdalne well i find it hard to believe that Abby could have gone to jail for abuse but then still be back for season 9 and have her LA studio ... if you abuse minors, you are no longer allowed them and the crime would be more serious, I doubt this changes if the person is famous. But yea, the moms all saw this happening, and they should have put an end to it. They're honestly all pathetic.
Its great chloe defends her mother, however I'm glad someone called christi out for her evil words about gia, what i don't understand is if abbey and gia were so bad then why did Christi keep sighning chloe up for each sseason, if your child is being treated so badly, then why keep taking them to the same place, there are other dance places you can go to. I guess they did not want to let go of being in the spotlight, they wznted fame.
Christi has said that when the show started both Christi and Kelly had been ready to leave the studio. Problem is that the contract that Abby gets them to sign says that you need to stay for the whole competition season and if you are a title holder you need to come back for the next competition season. If you leave then you will owe Abby $100,000. Christi and Kelly were still there because Chloe and Brooke had been title holders the previous season.
Neither of them signed Abby's contract for season 4 of Dance Moms but they still had to dance there anyway because of the contract with Lifetime. That is why Abby was so much worse to Chloe during season 4 and Abby has even admitted it.
