Oh god, I loved Poe Poe Poe Poe Poe too. I absolutely love We Will Rave too, it's such a high energy banger and Kaleen is a lovely woman and dancer, I just have reservations about the live vocals during the contest, because they haven't IMO been quite up to par from what I have seen yet.
Yeah, I am curious how this will be live. Guess we shall see.
I feel the same about the video, it's not really translating like that. But I saw her interview about this and she explained it - having fun but still being in control and power :)
The good news is, the live performance will be more rave and less naked men :)
Not sure how the vocals will work, not that she's bad, but the track with live vocals does not convince me so far.
Anyhow - this year - united by music - party first, competition second. Who ever wins, will have deserved it :)
Yeah I want to see the Rave! Her dancing is phenomenal and you get the right back up dancers, we're in for a great show. Just hope, as you said, she can sing it well.
I actually think that the video is very indicative of what she’s trying to convey. The choice of the large seemingly abandoned garage is very intentional. Techno parties used to be popular among the outcasts. And they would take place in old warehouses and garages. And they would and still are exactly the place for you to be able to just go nuts and be like I don’t care who’s watching me, I am here vibing with this song, doing my crazy dance and I feel safe because literally no one cares. I know that these parties get a bad reputation of drugs and alcohol and whatnot, but they really are not that. These parties are like let us do whatever we want, party together, help each other. I don’t know it’s really hard to explain. 😅it’s just like very understanding and accepting and everyone is so nice and encouraging and helpful. I feel this from the song 😂
