I'm not much of a car person but it was funny that the car seemed to do better than the army jeep one. It surprised me.

I agree I live in western NY and our side streets look 4 to 5 times as bad as these trails .

It would have been really nice and extremely helpful if you had indicated which settings you were using when climbing and descending. Did you have it on SNOW mode?
I thought it was Snow mode but definitely in Low Range.

Carguy I am very confused. I purchased a 2019 Trailhawk Cherokee and am still confused as to whether it’s a true 4WD? I thought it had a transfer case? I know it has 4Lo. Can you please verify? It seems to be hard to find this answer anywhere. Most places say it’s AWD or some sort of hybrid. And that it doesn’t have a transfer case.
It actually has 2 a front & rear end reduction gear sets. In 4Lo power is spilt 50-50 as they are locked. Unfortunately there are no 4hi modes that lock front & rear.

Not a traditional transfer case but same function in 4Lo.

Welcome, hope you check out the rest! LEDs do that on camera due to difference in frequency but thats normal.

Hey cool video! I have a question. I just got a trailhawk, I live in California and was wondering do I need to have tire chains if I am going up to the snow? I normally never drive in the snow so I don't know if I should buy some to have just in case. Or does the vehicle do good with out them?

Thanks! No you shouldn't need chains with the Trailhawk. Just rock back and forth in 4Low if you get in a bad spot and don't forget rear locker.

be sure ..i drove worse roads my cc many times at russia and without any problems.. 10 cm snow and they said off road .. it is not off road..
record to him... I did it by my self with Ford escort karavan 1993.
car for off roading is everything similar to Toyota 40 to 100 series and nissan patrol... wranglers and old cherokee's are good too...

Low range are you a novice? Switch to sand and mud?? Rear locker?? And the wrangler has to lead? This is poor review technique and poor camera work. Nice to have the wrangler packing it down. I have the Trailhawk 2016.. unbelievable vehicle. (We also have a Patriot and an 01 Cherokee lifted etc. From SW Colorado real snow Watch that monster ROCK lmao. Oh and love the Mr. Microphone.
I didn't see any off road videos on your channel. These videos are not easy to film and make interesting. I like my camera view as it shows the wheels spinning. And of course I wanted to try the different modes to see what worked best. Sorry you didn't like the video.
Sorry to be rough on you, but you didn't ad knowledge or show off any real capability of the vehicle and hardly any snow. I don't post vid, too busy doing and working/traveling Also into sxs cars AC Wildcat trail and Polaris RZR 800 (wife has her own) dirt bike and used to ATV also (and used to boat) SW Colorado rocks.
