Hello I just found your channel on nairaland and you've already cleared some major confusions I had so thank you. I still have one question though: if I apply to Studienkolleg from Nigeria is it that I get provisional admission and I have to travel there and write the Aufnahmeprüfung?

Yes. The Aufnahmeprüfung will be written in Germany

But I thought you need to be enrolled by the time you intend on converting your student visa to residence permit within 3months...does that mean it is possible to do that without proof of acceptance or enrollment?

I have a question, i'm spending my first days in Germany in kiel, i'm having the aufnahemprüfung in 2 days here in kiel, and i'm afraid that maybe i'll fail in it because of the competion..., but the problem is that i heard about "Die Anmeldung"
And i know that i gotta have already a rental contract, but i still don't know if i'm gonna fail or not in the aufnahmeprüfung,
Because if i failed, i'll change the city and go study in a privat syudienkolleg...Because now i'm in Kiel and there is not provat studienkolleg in kiel...
So, to get a rental contract and....all the things that i gotta have for die Anmeldung, what should i do if i failed...i'll have to leave all in that city and leave to an other....and get an other rental contract there...and i gotta do due Anmeldung in 14 days...so, Due Zeit drängt😩
Please could you answer me, i'm really so confiused:(

My point here is, since you probably know you will fail then just go for your second option. But make sure it's start recognised cause most of the private studienkolleg are not.

Please tell me, I give the exam, I pass with good marks but because of competition, don't get selected. What is the best thing to do? Should I change my program? Can I study in English? Or a diploma. I am B2 german

You can actually take the exam in another school with less competition and you might be lucky to get in. Well, if you actually have another program you are interested in you can go for it.
You can also consider applying for Ausbildung, though they are always like foreigner are not qualified for it but have seen exceptional cases.
And of course you can study in English, check on DAAD website to see available programs, most of them are always in private universities anyways. Mind you, English proficiency test might be required.
