I've been researching for hours how to get my airbag off. I drive a 2011 Toyota Corolla S and I can't find any T30 Torx screws under those side panels. I can't find any screws that are accessible from those side panels. All the sources I'm looking at keep talking about the T30 torx screws under the side panels but mine doesn't seem to have them. can you help me please? do you know about the 2011 Toyota Corolla S?
There are spring releases, not screws on my 2013 Corolla S. I had to look up how to replace the cruise control switch and/or windshield wiper switch to be able to find a video that shows how to remove the airbag on models without torque screws.
Cause when i put it back it could come off at any second and shoot the air bags. imtalking about the yellow clips on the first clables that you disconnect, the orange and the black top clables
Hello Marwan. I can't seem to get the cover off, how tight are the front clips. Is there a special way to do it. I've tried pushing with a screwdriver but to movement at all.
@@marwanrageh7543 Hello. I have the Auris version and does not have any screws only two two slots on the front of the cover, I have tried pushing on them but they seem solid. How tough were the clips on yours.
Sorry, I thought you were talking about the horn and airbag The cover doesn't have screws just clips, they were easy to unclip, on the videos you can see how they look like try pushing it with your hand and something flat
Hi mate, do you know what is the part no. For this clock spring? I have exactly same setting 2009 Corolla and I'm wondering to upgrade for Steering Wheel Control switches. Thanks.
cause i have to work on this same issue and i dont want my airbags to go off. Please reply as soon as posible 😅 I meed to know where are those cables located and which ones
Good video bro thanks for posting. Buuutttt I’m pretty sure there’s a recall for that exact issue on your year and model do you ask Toyota if they would fix?
Marwan Rageh well idk anymore I went to get my clock spring fixed under recall 14v168000 but Toyota bs and said that my year wasn’t due for that recall (2010). Idk
@@marwanrageh7543 jow can u tell if there's a recall an if u bring that to Toyota's attention they Jave to fix it?? They told me 231 for my 2011 Corolla an 159. Or I can get the neighborhood Machanic for 150
@@veescorner4551 you can check if there is a recall for your car from www.toyota.com/recall As Kyle said on the previous comment there is already a recall for this problem, but they told him his wasn't due for his year You can fix it and keep the receipt till they issue a recall if they ever do
Marwan Rageh thank you so much, happy new year to you. I need to know what you mean by any part of the body of the car? youre talking about the negative? what part? specifically? i will be doing this by myself so i need to know all the do's and Dont's
He’s got flip flops on. I trust him.

Hello, after taking the two screws on the sides, the cover should come off easy

Do you think the clock spring could be the cause of why my 2012 Toyota Corolla honks 1 time every time I turn my key to the ON position?
hmmmm, weird, I'm not sure why, but I don't think it's the clock spring
Just did this to my 04 corolla. Pretty much the same process.

When you disconnect the negative terminal of the battery just cover it so it won't accidentally complete the circuit
