    Mam (at 16:27) in CO posioning (anemic hypoxia) there is left shift so O2 content goes high?

    • @PhysiologyOpen
      @PhysiologyOpen  4 місяці тому

      No…whatever oxygen is bound to hemoglobin will be released less

    Ma'am I have a doubt
    A 28 year old lady visited opd with complaints of breathlessness even with light activities since 15 days. She had history of post partum hemorrhage 2 months back. No other complaints were noted. On investigation, her hemoglobin was 5g%. What type of hypoxia she is having? Can it be cured with oxygen therapy?

    • @aditiagarwal6107
      @aditiagarwal6107 3 роки тому +1

      I think the answer is Anemic Hypoxia because hemoglobin is much lower than normal and it can't be cured with oxygen therapy because the problem lies in quantity of hemoglobin. Am I correct ma'am?

    • @PhysiologyOpen
      @PhysiologyOpen  3 роки тому +1

      Yes correct. Sometimes in emergency oxygen therapy may be given . It will increase dissolved oxygen . However, she definitely needs blood transfusion

    Hello mam, can you please explain about the covid vaccine. My question is
    There is any side effects between vaccine, if we take the first dose with covid shield and the second dose we take covaxin?

    • @PhysiologyOpen

      Its not known yet and hence its not recommended yet. But people are doing research on that. Cant say anything before that

      @@PhysiologyOpen thank you mam, because we havd seen in some cases, we don't know is due to the neglected or we can't say, that some healthcare center they given vaccine to people first dose with covid shield and second dose with covaxin, so we as the people we need to know there is any sides effect in this case as we know the are covid vaccine but there manufacturers is different?

    • @PhysiologyOpen
      @PhysiologyOpen  3 роки тому +1

      Yeah that I am aware that it happened, but scientifically we don’t know the effects...so if it’s not known or if that’s not a research being done with consent of volunteers, it should not be given
