Glad it was helpful!
Clear explanation mam . Thank u
Glad. Thanks and keep learning
Thanks mam for explaining 😊
Most welcome 😊
Mam (at 16:27) in CO posioning (anemic hypoxia) there is left shift so O2 content goes high?
No…whatever oxygen is bound to hemoglobin will be released less
Thanks alot for this video mam🤩
And mam could you please explain the reason for silent hypoxia in COVID 19 patients?
Will definitely try
@@PhysiologyOpen OK ... Thank you mam☺☺
Thank u so much mam 🙏 please upload more videos
Sure 😊
Thank you so much ma'am

Welcome 😊
Thank you mam👍

Ma'am I have a doubt
A 28 year old lady visited opd with complaints of breathlessness even with light activities since 15 days. She had history of post partum hemorrhage 2 months back. No other complaints were noted. On investigation, her hemoglobin was 5g%. What type of hypoxia she is having? Can it be cured with oxygen therapy?
I think the answer is Anemic Hypoxia because hemoglobin is much lower than normal and it can't be cured with oxygen therapy because the problem lies in quantity of hemoglobin. Am I correct ma'am?
Yes correct. Sometimes in emergency oxygen therapy may be given . It will increase dissolved oxygen . However, she definitely needs blood transfusion
🙏

🤝
Ma'am which book do u suggest for physiology?
Guyton
Also for ease of understanding: Understanding Medical Physiology by Dr. Bijlani (not for entrance though)
Thankq mam
You are welcome

Hello mam, can you please explain about the covid vaccine. My question is
There is any side effects between vaccine, if we take the first dose with covid shield and the second dose we take covaxin?
Its not known yet and hence its not recommended yet. But people are doing research on that. Cant say anything before that
@@PhysiologyOpen thank you mam, because we havd seen in some cases, we don't know is due to the neglected or we can't say, that some healthcare center they given vaccine to people first dose with covid shield and second dose with covaxin, so we as the people we need to know there is any sides effect in this case as we know the are covid vaccine but there manufacturers is different?
Yeah that I am aware that it happened, but scientifically we don’t know the effects...so if it’s not known or if that’s not a research being done with consent of volunteers, it should not be given
Ma'am I am a first prof student..I am a big fan your lectures....I have one doubt....
""6 years Neurosurgery residency at NIMHANS, Bengaluru is a DNB course or M.Ch course??"" ... Please clear my doubt, neurosurgery is my dream branch...I am studying a lot from first year itself to pursue my dream immediately after internship...Thank you
I think it’s MCh course straight after MBBS
It’s great…strong concepts from first year itself go a long way
Thank you ma'am
