- In 1939, a worker has an abortion while working in a slaughterhouse and dies. The deformed baby is dumped in a garbage container and found by a beggar who brings him home. Along the years, the freak creature called Thomas is raised by the Hewitt family, working at a meat plant. In 1969, when the facility gets close down, deformed insane Thomas kills the foreman. His deranged stepfather executes the sheriff that is going to arrest Thomas, and assumes his identity and entitling himself as Sheriff Hoyt. Meanwhile, the brothers Eric (Matthew Bomer - "Flightplan") and Dean (Taylor Handley - "Zerophilia") are traveling in a Jeep with their girlfriends Christie (Jordana Brewster - "The Fast and the Furious") and Bailey (Diora Baird - "Wedding Crashers"). When the group has a car accident, Hoyt arrests Eric, Dean and Bailey and brings them to his house. Christie follows them trying to rescue the trio, trapped in the house of sadistic and insane cannibals, in a trip of horror and gore. Imagine this version of leatherface facing the 2007 version of Michael Myers
HODIC oh I would love that who would kill first?
Theres already one, search........
Leatherface SHOULD have a chance, as long as Michael doesn't get his hands on his throat
2007 Michael Myers would win easily. Dude was like 7-foot, picked up a tombstone (and carried it off) and flipped over a car. Leatherface has no chance.
Marcus Graves Remake Leatherface is a huge bulky man like 2007 Micheal. If he wanted to, I’m sure he can flip over a car. 2007 Micheal is just human like 2003 Leatherface.
2:13 The way he stares at his boss fits soooo perfect with the background sounds. Andrew Bryniarski made an excellent Leatherface!

I thought this movie was gonna be complete ass when I found it on Netflix, but it actually kept me on the edge of my seat til the end.
This one is definitely the second best of the Chainsaw Massacre movies. Still doesn't beat the original, but compared to all the other terrible sequels and that piece of crap remake by Michael Bay, this one is pretty good. Not to mention how realistic the blood and gore looks. I think it's the same guys that do the effects for The Walking Dead, so they know what they're doing!
Charlie Harper sorry but yeah it does the original isn't a masterpiece the characters are bland there are plotholes draged out scenes to pad out the movie you can keep pretending that the original is this flawless horror film but at the end of the day that isn't true
Acting was actually way better than any new horror movie I saw
@@charlieharper886 Except this film is a prequel to said piece of crap remake by Michael Bay.
hold up, what netflix do you have?! irish netflix has NOTHING on it
I gotta say this, i love how Thomas shows his intelligence in those 2 scenes. He knew to go after the boss, not the messenger. Despite being enraged, he knew killing the guy would have police all over him.
Also when he kills his boss, everything he does is very methodical. Like trapping him under the table & striking his legs so he couldn't talk to the operator.
Even at the beginning of the 2nd scene he seems to wait for an explanation only to be insulted by his boss for the 100th time. Boss squandered his last chance to show Thomas basic respect after being given several over the years.
Thomas was much much smarter than they gave him credit for.
Being realistic here: never insult anyone who is about to fucking kill you. That includes to everybody.
Oh sure, talk smack to the 6'5" dude holding a sledgehammer.

Adding insult to injury
Yep mike😂
Yes lol
Yes that’s what I heard lol 😂
Charlie isn't his step father nor do they refer to him as such in the movie... He sees Thomas as his nephew. But they're brothers.
Thank you. Someone knows their history.
Charlie is adoptive father, how can you call them brothers since they're not biologically related.....?!
Matyas Balint Charlie is Luda May’s son, Luda May adopted Thomas, therefore he’s Thomas’s adoptive brother
Who's Charlie again?
Charlie - by R. Lee Ermey, would become Sheriff Hoyt after killing the real Sheriff Hoyt (and the last of law enforcement), and therefore, take his name...I must say, personally, the asshole sheriff asked for his demise; he, along with Charlie, apprehended Tommy (Leatherface), pointed his gun at him, threatened to kill him had he not dropped the chainsaw, but Charlie - being the protective adoptive older brother (rightfully so) as he is, took a shotgun off the dashboard of the sheriff vehicle, and gunned down the sheriff.
...sorry for the elaboration...and, I usually don't root for bad guys, but in Leatherface's case, I don't blame him nor his deranged folk; "outsiders" didn't do themselves any service, when they tormented and ridiculed Tommy, as a kid - into his adulthood, and his folk witnessing it, or becoming aware of it, it's no wonder...
the biker guy also had it coming - according to Charlie/Sheriff Hoyt he was "one of the assholes who used to fuck with Tommy in the schoolyard"@@dontrah1838
Such profound sensitivity to unemployment.
Given the job he'd had since he was a kid and it kept him sane yeah I think its a proper reaction to becoming unemployed
And hunger. Don't forget hunger😂

Whenever he stares down the bosses assistant did anyone else went "ooooooooooohhhhh shit" to themselves quietly.

How ironic that in the same scene where he gets called a dumb animal, Thomas shows that he's smart enough to know that the Supervisor is the one who made Jess tell him to leave. The moral of this story? Don't judge a book by it's cover.
never insult a man with a meat cleaver....
Never insult me with your large variety no business where police report
The atmosphere in this prequel was great, and a very decent addition to the 2003 version. But the story was a disappointment. Why basically repeat everything that had already happened in the other film (a group of young adults becoming stranded near the house and getting killed one by one) when they could actually have explored Thomas' background a lot more?... I wanted to see his childhood, and all that has led him to become such a monster. Not a repetition of the 2003 movie.
There is leatherface it's a orgin story, not very good though in my opinion.
@mr finch that movie was a total disgrace!!
Jennah G it didn't have that Texas chainsaw massacre vibe to it and they completely changed he's backstory, idk for me it's been two terrible movies in a row. I didn't like the 3D one or leatherface.
Because this is a slasher. If you want story, go watch something else. This is the slasher genre. All that matters is that there is people and they die gruesomely.
