I have seen quite some big queues during summer at multiple german airports, I think they underestimated the demand of the holiday flights, but this is absolutely insane! I remember flying the D-ABOL a few years as a passenger to Las Palmas, great to see her back in service, love the 757s of Condor! :)
Great review, horrible queue. That's one of my worst nightmares. Being in queue, stress and anxiety levels rising with every 30 mins. Not a fun start to a flight.
Thank you for a great review ! I completely agree with you about the B.757 with Rolls engines, for they do make a fabulous sound ! One can only hope Boeing will soon decide on a proper replacement for the B.757, for the 737 MAX is being overtaken by the A321neo in many new sales for aircraft of this size. Boeing's darling is the 737. They definitely missed the mark when they neglected to update the 757, and this is why Airbus is eating their lunch in this market segment.

This is not how a holiday should start. No excuses. Unbelievable queue! I have never seen any like this. That was the reason for all the sleeping pax. Their stress turned into dizziness. The breakfast looked quite decent. 10€ seems okay. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, what a beautiful landing into sunny PMI. These types of flights make me happy just watching them as I know what excitement lots of people are feeling going on there summer holidays ;-) And the 757 (also known as the flying pencil, lol) is the best aircraft ever imho. Yes maybe lots of Condor staff have Covid but as you say Lucas it is up to Condor to sort the problem out, how are our airports supposed to recover when lots of passengers cannot even have enough time to spend money at the airport in the shops and restaurants. I am sure DUS airport will not be happy with this situation. Or maybe since the closure of Condor from the Thomas Cook group has meant standards are going backwards ?? However the service and food on board the aircraft still looked very good indeed. Great Video mate ;-)

Colas al embarque: Quizá el pasaje se ha recuperado más pronto que los contratos de personal por parte de las compañías. Mi hija también tuvo problemas de Bari a BCN con Vueling. A 20min. de la hora de salida todavía estaba en check in. Perfecto vídeo. Gracias

Before the pandemic, they were giving you the boarding card on the online check-in. Now, they don't because they want to check that you filled the locator form...
I flew back to Manchester in 2019 with Flybe from Düsseldorf after a river cruise. We were checked in before leaving the boat and were given boarding passes. At check in, we stood in a queue for 90 minutes to be checked in AGAIN and our cases weighed. There were only 20 of us in our queue and it still look ages. It looks like it might not have been Condors fault but the airport staff. Lovely trip report as always x

Que desastre esa tremenda fila para check-in y que tremendo stress para esos 6 agentes. Por otra parte qué bueno ver que todavía vuelan los B757. Es un excelente avión. Con ese magnífico desayuno se olvida todo el desagrado inicial, más aun viajando a Mallorca. Muy buen video. Saludos !!!
Si es un estrés para los agentes... imaginate para los pasajeros que ven como la hora de salida de su vuelo se acerca y siguen en la cola... Es terrible. Inaceptable servicio... =/
Waiting two hours in a line to check in for a flight: Young people of today: "This is unacceptable!" Those of us who've been travelling long before kiosks and mobile check-in: "I remember those days!" In all seriousness though, nice to see DUS again, as much as I love the new terminal, I sure miss the old one before the fire. Going through the temporary tents right after the fire was quite the experience as well.
@@OnBoardHD As I said, back before mobile/kiosk check-ins, this was normal. Check in would open up 2-3 hours before a flight, and if you wanted to beat the crowds, you'd get there an hour or two earlier and as soon as people started queuing up, you'd line up, that way you could get your boarding pass quickly and relax before your flight. If you got there after check in opened, a 1.5 to 2 hour wait in the line was normal. Back in the late 90s, some airlines started early check-in where you could check-in and drop off your bags the night before your flight, worked quite well in you lived close to DUS or CGN.

I had also a bad experience in Düsseldorf at the check-in when flying with Condor in end of July 2021. But I think it is not Condor to be blamed. Condor - like other companies - has no own personal at Düsseldorf but instead buys the service from a ground handling company. When we were at check-in, the agent seemed to be very stressed and was very rude with us. We told her to de-escalate her behavior. She then talked to her supervisor and had afterwards had calmed down. On our way back from Tenerife to Düsseldorf, Condor also had hired a local ground handling company to do the job. But in Tenerife, it was an extremely nice lady, who did a flawless job. When looking at Condor itself: Both flights were perfect. In my view, I would not blame Condor, but instead the ground handling company in Düsseldorf. An I assume, that similar experiences exist at Düsseldorf when flying with other airplane operators that hire the same ground handling company.
The point is that it's the airline who decides how many check-in agents and counters wants to use, and based on that, the handling company will hire more or less staff. In my opinion, and it's just my opinion, not based on any data, I think it's the airline trying to reduce costs... As I said in the videos several times, the experience from boarding with Condor was great as always. Some people take this video as I hate Condor or something... that's really far from reality, I really love flying with Condor... but when you like something, it doesn't mean that you are not going to criticize what they do bad (extremely bad in this case). On the other hand, the most passengers don‘t like to pay for the service anymore. As long as you are able to fly within EU for less than 200€, such queues are some of many consequences of too low prices. How much did you pay for the flight to PMI and back?
For the Boeing planes parked at the gates, you used the designation S and W. I’ve never heard of that. Where did you get that? Example 737-800S , 737-800W etc.

Correcto. Con pre-comprado me refiero a que ya lo he pagado en la web. Habitualmente, estas comidas no están disponibles en el avión si no las has pagado ya. Su elaboración suele ser mejor y la aerolínea no puede permitirse fabricar esas comidas y no venderlas. Por eso se pagan por adelantado. Saludos!

The B757 is an amzing plane. It's really sad that Boeing didn't choose to make a "MAX" version of it. It's really beautiful and I think it would have been the perfect rival for the A321Neo XLR that will conquer the long-haul routes with medium demand in the next 10-15 years...

Had the same problem at the counters too with my flight from HAM TO HER. We were there 3 hours prior to our departure time and nearly missed it as we waited endlessly in those queues. Got into the plane with the last call :‘D
Had something similar at heraklion : 2 counter open for a full a340 flight ! Luckily I was flying business class and there was no one :) I may taking this flight in October and wonders if the queue for business is also very long ?
Wow! That sounds terrible as well... There was no queue for business. There was a counter desk but it was used also for economy. I guess that if you travel in business they will attend you straight forward.
Yes I had the same trouble in Heraklion and as well in Munic with TUIfly. 2 flights at same time with two Boing 737-800 and only 3 open counter. Wait time >1hr at >30°C. Same in Munic, ~1hr wait time to check in the baggage. Many people had their Corona papers not prepared. Some people have to search for it in the baggage *facepalm*

Mira a mi país es Panamá, la línea aérea panameña es Copa Airlines, la última vez que viajé fue hace dos años atrás a la ciudad de Fort Lauderdale, hubo una grandísima fila para ir diferentes destinos pero me atendió bien rápido sin ningún problema. Actualmente no me atrevo hasta que termine esa terrible pesadilla. Por cierto me gustó ese vídeo para ir a Palma de Mallorca ya que esa isla es muy turística. I think those rows of pax were because of a strike. I heard about that a few times. I flew from Düsseldorf several times with condor and the check in was really fast even faster than other airports. But I assume it was terrible.
There were not any strikes. It's the usual situation in summer. Many other viewers told in the comments they had the exactly same experience in different days... =/

I am handling agent in a very touristic airport and long queues for common check-in were my daily during the last summer. I have lived the same situation : few agents for several fully booked flights. Some of my colleagues were unvoluntary for working (we have the choice in this virus situation). Then, a lot of passengers did not have documents for the final destination (PCR test, QR code, PLF...) and we have to check everything, it takes a lot of time.
Well, the point is that at this stage (August 2021) the airlines know perfectly how the passengers will be at the airport and how many agents they need... but there are some airlines that appear they don't want to spend in handling services...
wonderful video! what an ugly experience checking in! I just returned to Los Angeles from Athens and we had two full planes, about 500 pax going through customs with 2 agents...good thing i did not have to catch any connecting flight!!

Love the 757, always felt like a really safe aircraft, but it is amazing how quickly they are looking dated inside, but time goes so quick, they stopped making them in 2004.

Yo estuve de vacaciones hay y es muy bonita te aconsejo que la visite. Tienes pensado hacer un viaje de Dusseldorf hasta gran canaria con un 767 porque veo que están haciendo varios vuelos. Vídeo super bueno me gusto muchísimo pero me habría gustado estar en el estreno. Sigue así siempre te apoyaremos todos y espero que llegues lo antes posible a los 100k.
Estaré en Catania sólo una noche y para despegar muy temprano por la mañana. La verdad es que después de esto, no tengo ninguna gana de volver a volar con Condor en unos meses. Saludos! :)

We had a similar experience just 2 weeks ago on our flight from Hamburg to Palma. Just 4 people for check in but 3 flights in the morning, 2 757 fully booked and one A320. We waitet about 1 1/2 hour in the queue.
@@OnBoardHD before the pandamic it was no problem at all, but now it is really terrible. We also reserved 2 seats and a free middle seat but they gave us seats in the row behind with no free middle seat. We will fly again with Condor in October from Hamburg to Tenerife, but this time we want to do the late night check in the day before we fly. It costs 5€ for each Person but it is better than waiting again 2 hours for check in.
Es gibt keine Charterflüge mehr, so wie man sie noch aus den 1980ern kennt. Natürlich hat Condor Linienflüge, man bekommt sogar noch Milen für Miles and More.
Waiting in line is of course not possible, but maybe lack of staff. Many staff have been laid off in the covid pandemic and have gone to work elsewhere. By departing on time, many passengers will not have made the flight. It is also possible that the check-in was done by Dusseldorf airport and then Condor is not to blame.
Condor is not to blame directly. Check In is done by a Handling Agent in this case AHS Düsseldorf and they have major problems with lack of staff … perhaps if Airlines and especially Passengers start to pay more for their tickets and thus thr staff… Handling Agents would have fewer problems finding people who are willing to work for minimum wage + Covid is not helping the situation at all
Unfortunately I think that this is a common problem of DUS airport... Anytime I was there, there were never-ending queues everywhere, from check-in (also with top airliners) to security controls etc. It seems like they are extremely understaffed, or really bad organized.
Having to get your boarding card in person is a Covid thing. They need to check your vaccination status or test result. The €20 priority package can help evade the chaos and is often well worth it.
As far as I know, the Priority is just for boarding, not for the check-in. In any case, it's not acceptable to wait 2-3 hours in the check-in queue. All the other airlines in Europe have developed a system where you can upload your covid documents online, so these queues never happen. Condor decided to not do it (to save costs? who knows...).
@@OnBoardHD It is definitely for the check-in, too! They typically have a "business class" check in that is much less frequented and you can use that. Absolutely fair point about uploading the documents online though - I did not know that, have only used Condor since the pandemic began. (I like them overall, and depend on them on the routes I use, but am far from idolizing them - they have screwed me over many many times and are not beyond inflicting huge stress & frustration on their passengers to save costs!)

Lucas, una pregunta ¿Cuándo y a que hora son los estrenos? (hora española) Al parece son muy entretenidos porque varios hacen alusión a ello- Un abrazo desde Santiago de Chile, América del Sur.
Los estrenos son todos los sábados a las 10am hora peninsular de España y, casi todos los miércoles a las 4pm, hora peninsular. A veces hago también los martes a las 4pm, en cuyo caso el vídeo del miércoles pasaría al jueves. El vídeo que, sí o sí, sale todas las semanas desde hace 5 años es el del sábado :)
i saw a even larger line for Brussels airport a couple years ago but that was for security, 100 meters looped around 5 times, and ONE person sitting at the office, missed my flight because of that….

At my Homeairport was also a big Disaster...2 weeks ago at Karlsruhe Airport 3 Ryanair flights departed at the same Time, and only 2 Security check points were open... you can imagine what happens when 400 passengers Wants to Pass the Security checks at the same Time... At the end 50 passengers couldnt Pass it and missed their flight
You see, in that case it was the airport fault. The airlines don't have any decision on the security check staff. But they decide how many are available at the check-in counters...
Well, DUS is currently catastrophic.... The problem is the airport itself. The had fired a lot of the workers and they didn't "estimate" such a big number of travellers. The same happened in Cologne (AFAIK). Anyways nice video!
If you're at the check-in 3 hours before boarding and they leave without you just because they are understaffed it's the airline's fault. I would demand a full refund and then take another airline. At good airports the staff walk down the queue and ask if there are any passengers for the flight which is about to board and they take you to the counter.

Es posible, sin justificar el evento, que por la pandemia se despidió gente y no hubo suficiente personal para el pre chequeo y/o posible acumulación de vuelos; el desayuno se veía delicioso y nutritivo, buenas vistas panorámicas, excelente aterrizaje. El Cóndor es el ave emblemática de mi país Ecuador, está en su escudo. Que bueno ver que haya más tráfico de gente viajando, cuídate mucho.
Claro, yo diría que está claro que ese es el problema. El tema es que deberían contratar a un personal acorde a los pasajeros que vana mover. Saben perfectamente que hay unas 1.600 plaza de avión en un lapso de 30 minutos... Saludos! :)
@@OnBoardHD de acuerdo, pero capacitar a gente nueva en el sistema informático (Amadeus u otro) toma tiempo y los antiguos pueden no estar disponibles, la variables son varias, lo que si no creo es que vuelva a suceder si son proactivos resolviendo.
La verdad es que salvo ese incidente en el aeropuerto el vuelo fue bueno. Es cierto que tienen que poner más empleados para evitar esas grandes colas y un poco más de planificación de los vuelos por parte de la compañía. Pero bueno, de todos los vídeos que he visto tuyos este es el único en que te ha pasado eso. De todas formas, hemos pasado de no volar a estar todo el día volando, con lo cual es un poco complicado administrar todos estos vuelos. El amanecer en el vuelo es una pasada¡¡ Mi querida Mallorca, tan bonita como siempre¡ Ojalá ya se recupere totalmente los viajes en avión¡¡ No podemos estar sin ver ese maravilloso cielo y el mar .

Nice one! Lot's of German planes on Mallorca. But then again, it seems like Covid skipped the Germans... ;-) I am always a little surprised to see how close airports are in neighbouring countries and how many are connected with one and other by air even if they are only a few kilometers apart. But 180 kms??? DUDE!!! driving a bicycle that distance is even quicker than checking in...

In addition, there is a high speed ICE train connection between Düsseldorf and Frankfurt, in only 1:35 h. The train stops also at Frankfurt Airport, which is reached within 1:25h. And here comes the trick: Lufthansa offers train tickets from EVERY German city to their airports. So I really don't get the point of this flight

This is not how a holiday should start. No excuses. Unbelievable queue! I have never seen any like this. That was the reason for all the sleeping pax. Their stress turned into dizziness. The breakfast looked quite decent. 10€ seems okay. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, what a beautiful landing into sunny PMI. These types of flights make me happy just watching them as I know what excitement lots of people are feeling going on there summer holidays ;-) And the 757 (also known as the flying pencil, lol) is the best aircraft ever imho. Yes maybe lots of Condor staff have Covid but as you say Lucas it is up to Condor to sort the problem out, how are our airports supposed to recover when lots of passengers cannot even have enough time to spend money at the airport in the shops and restaurants. I am sure DUS airport will not be happy with this situation. Or maybe since the closure of Condor from the Thomas Cook group has meant standards are going backwards ?? However the service and food on board the aircraft still looked very good indeed. Great Video mate ;-)

I was on queues like that one in Gatwick with Easyjet, but they had more than 20 desks open :)
I'd never seen such a queue like this in more than 800 flights I've done so far.

I had a similar experience at Dusseldorf airport a couple of years ago, flying during christmas.. it's quite 'normal'.

Cool video. Why don’t they install self service kiosks and bag drop? 🧐 Most of the major Australian airports have these (for Qantas, Virgin and Jetstar) and they seem to work very efficiently.
Before the pandemic, they were giving you the boarding card on the online check-in.
Now, they don't because they want to check that you filled the locator form...

I flew back to Manchester in 2019 with Flybe from Düsseldorf after a river cruise. We were checked in before leaving the boat and were given boarding passes. At check in, we stood in a queue for 90 minutes to be checked in AGAIN and our cases weighed. There were only 20 of us in our queue and it still look ages. It looks like it might not have been Condors fault but the airport staff. Lovely trip report as always x

Que desastre esa tremenda fila para check-in y que tremendo stress para esos 6 agentes. Por otra parte qué bueno ver que todavía vuelan los B757. Es un excelente avión. Con ese magnífico desayuno se olvida todo el desagrado inicial, más aun viajando a Mallorca. Muy buen video. Saludos !!!

In all seriousness though, nice to see DUS again, as much as I love the new terminal, I sure miss the old one before the fire. Going through the temporary tents right after the fire was quite the experience as well.
It is no acceptable to wait 2-3 for a boarding card. Not at all.
@@OnBoardHD As I said, back before mobile/kiosk check-ins, this was normal. Check in would open up 2-3 hours before a flight, and if you wanted to beat the crowds, you'd get there an hour or two earlier and as soon as people started queuing up, you'd line up, that way you could get your boarding pass quickly and relax before your flight. If you got there after check in opened, a 1.5 to 2 hour wait in the line was normal. Back in the late 90s, some airlines started early check-in where you could check-in and drop off your bags the night before your flight, worked quite well in you lived close to DUS or CGN.

I had also a bad experience in Düsseldorf at the check-in when flying with Condor in end of July 2021. But I think it is not Condor to be blamed. Condor - like other companies - has no own personal at Düsseldorf but instead buys the service from a ground handling company. When we were at check-in, the agent seemed to be very stressed and was very rude with us. We told her to de-escalate her behavior. She then talked to her supervisor and had afterwards had calmed down.
On our way back from Tenerife to Düsseldorf, Condor also had hired a local ground handling company to do the job. But in Tenerife, it was an extremely nice lady, who did a flawless job.
When looking at Condor itself: Both flights were perfect.
In my view, I would not blame Condor, but instead the ground handling company in Düsseldorf. An I assume, that similar experiences exist at Düsseldorf when flying with other airplane operators that hire the same ground handling company.
The point is that it's the airline who decides how many check-in agents and counters wants to use, and based on that, the handling company will hire more or less staff. In my opinion, and it's just my opinion, not based on any data, I think it's the airline trying to reduce costs...
As I said in the videos several times, the experience from boarding with Condor was great as always. Some people take this video as I hate Condor or something... that's really far from reality, I really love flying with Condor... but when you like something, it doesn't mean that you are not going to criticize what they do bad (extremely bad in this case).

On the other hand, the most passengers don‘t like to pay for the service anymore. As long as you are able to fly within EU for less than 200€, such queues are some of many consequences of too low prices. How much did you pay for the flight to PMI and back?

For the Boeing planes parked at the gates, you used the designation S and W. I’ve never heard of that. Where did you get that? Example 737-800S , 737-800W etc.
W means Winglets, S means Scimitar Winglets.

Habitualmente, estas comidas no están disponibles en el avión si no las has pagado ya. Su elaboración suele ser mejor y la aerolínea no puede permitirse fabricar esas comidas y no venderlas. Por eso se pagan por adelantado.

The B757 is an amzing plane. It's really sad that Boeing didn't choose to make a "MAX" version of it. It's really beautiful and I think it would have been the perfect rival for the A321Neo XLR that will conquer the long-haul routes with medium demand in the next 10-15 years...

Had the same problem at the counters too with my flight from HAM TO HER. We were there 3 hours prior to our departure time and nearly missed it as we waited endlessly in those queues. Got into the plane with the last call :‘D

Had something similar at heraklion : 2 counter open for a full a340 flight ! Luckily I was flying business class and there was no one :) I may taking this flight in October and wonders if the queue for business is also very long ?
Wow! That sounds terrible as well... There was no queue for business. There was a counter desk but it was used also for economy. I guess that if you travel in business they will attend you straight forward.

Yes I had the same trouble in Heraklion and as well in Munic with TUIfly. 2 flights at same time with two Boing 737-800 and only 3 open counter. Wait time >1hr at >30°C. Same in Munic, ~1hr wait time to check in the baggage. Many people had their Corona papers not prepared. Some people have to search for it in the baggage *facepalm*

Mira a mi país es Panamá, la línea aérea panameña es Copa Airlines, la última vez que viajé fue hace dos años atrás a la ciudad de Fort Lauderdale, hubo una grandísima fila para ir diferentes destinos pero me atendió bien rápido sin ningún problema. Actualmente no me atrevo hasta que termine esa terrible pesadilla. Por cierto me gustó ese vídeo para ir a Palma de Mallorca ya que esa isla es muy turística. I think those rows of pax were because of a strike. I heard about that a few times. I flew from Düsseldorf several times with condor and the check in was really fast even faster than other airports. But I assume it was terrible.
There were not any strikes. It's the usual situation in summer.
Many other viewers told in the comments they had the exactly same experience in different days... =/

I am handling agent in a very touristic airport and long queues for common check-in were my daily during the last summer. I have lived the same situation : few agents for several fully booked flights. Some of my colleagues were unvoluntary for working (we have the choice in this virus situation). Then, a lot of passengers did not have documents for the final destination (PCR test, QR code, PLF...) and we have to check everything, it takes a lot of time.
Well, the point is that at this stage (August 2021) the airlines know perfectly how the passengers will be at the airport and how many agents they need... but there are some airlines that appear they don't want to spend in handling services...
wonderful video! what an ugly experience checking in! I just returned to Los Angeles from Athens and we had two full planes, about 500 pax going through customs with 2 agents...good thing i did not have to catch any connecting flight!!

Love the 757, always felt like a really safe aircraft, but it is amazing how quickly they are looking dated inside, but time goes so quick, they stopped making them in 2004.
I think a B757MAX would be the perfect plane to compete with the A321neo xlr.

Hola onboard como estás espero que bien. Como pasaste las vacaciones de verano, porque yo súper bien e visto que visitarás Catania. Yo estuve de vacaciones hay y es muy bonita te aconsejo que la visite. Tienes pensado hacer un viaje de Dusseldorf hasta gran canaria con un 767 porque veo que están haciendo varios vuelos. Vídeo super bueno me gusto muchísimo pero me habría gustado estar en el estreno. Sigue así siempre te apoyaremos todos y espero que llegues lo antes posible a los 100k.
Estaré en Catania sólo una noche y para despegar muy temprano por la mañana. La verdad es que después de esto, no tengo ninguna gana de volver a volar con Condor en unos meses.

We had a similar experience just 2 weeks ago on our flight from Hamburg to Palma. Just 4 people for check in but 3 flights in the morning, 2 757 fully booked and one A320. We waitet about 1 1/2 hour in the queue.
For what others and you told me, this is something quite common... it's terrible that nobody does anything to solve it.
@@OnBoardHD before the pandamic it was no problem at all, but now it is really terrible. We also reserved 2 seats and a free middle seat but they gave us seats in the row behind with no free middle seat. We will fly again with Condor in October from Hamburg to Tenerife, but this time we want to do the late night check in the day before we fly. It costs 5€ for each Person but it is better than waiting again 2 hours for check in.
In spite of the very long check in line it was a great flight.I love the 757.Thanks Lucas

Waiting in line is of course not possible, but maybe lack of staff. Many staff have been laid off in the covid pandemic and have gone to work elsewhere. By departing on time, many passengers will not have made the flight. It is also possible that the check-in was done by Dusseldorf airport and then Condor is not to blame.
I Think you've correctly explained the situation.
The point is that it's the airline the one who decides how many agents an how many check-in counters are used.
Condor is not to blame directly. Check In is done by a Handling Agent in this case AHS Düsseldorf and they have major problems with lack of staff … perhaps if Airlines and especially Passengers start to pay more for their tickets and thus thr staff… Handling Agents would have fewer problems finding people who are willing to work for minimum wage + Covid is not helping the situation at all
Unfortunately I think that this is a common problem of DUS airport... Anytime I was there, there were never-ending queues everywhere, from check-in (also with top airliners) to security controls etc. It seems like they are extremely understaffed, or really bad organized.
Or both... To be honest, my experience in security control was fine. It happened at a normal speed. But the check-in thing was just unacceptable.
Having to get your boarding card in person is a Covid thing. They need to check your vaccination status or test result.
The €20 priority package can help evade the chaos and is often well worth it.
As far as I know, the Priority is just for boarding, not for the check-in.
In any case, it's not acceptable to wait 2-3 hours in the check-in queue. All the other airlines in Europe have developed a system where you can upload your covid documents online, so these queues never happen. Condor decided to not do it (to save costs? who knows...).
@@OnBoardHD It is definitely for the check-in, too! They typically have a "business class" check in that is much less frequented and you can use that. Absolutely fair point about uploading the documents online though - I did not know that, have only used Condor since the pandemic began. (I like them overall, and depend on them on the routes I use, but am far from idolizing them - they have screwed me over many many times and are not beyond inflicting huge stress & frustration on their passengers to save costs!)

Lucas, una pregunta ¿Cuándo y a que hora son los estrenos? (hora española) Al parece son muy entretenidos porque varios hacen alusión a ello- Un abrazo desde Santiago de Chile, América del Sur.
Los estrenos son todos los sábados a las 10am hora peninsular de España y, casi todos los miércoles a las 4pm, hora peninsular. A veces hago también los martes a las 4pm, en cuyo caso el vídeo del miércoles pasaría al jueves.

i saw a even larger line for Brussels airport a couple years ago but that was for security, 100 meters looped around 5 times, and ONE person sitting at the office, missed my flight because of that….

I enjoyed the flight a lot! I always do it with Condor...
But the check-in event was far beyond the limits....
At my Homeairport was also a big Disaster...2 weeks ago at Karlsruhe Airport 3 Ryanair flights departed at the same Time, and only 2 Security check points were open... you can imagine what happens when 400 passengers Wants to Pass the Security checks at the same Time... At the end 50 passengers couldnt Pass it and missed their flight
You see, in that case it was the airport fault. The airlines don't have any decision on the security check staff. But they decide how many are available at the check-in counters...

The problem is the airport itself. The had fired a lot of the workers and they didn't "estimate" such a big number of travellers. The same happened in Cologne (AFAIK). Anyways nice video!
Yeah, that's not the passengers problem. We pay the same fare or even higher than before and the service is worse and worse...
I had the same issue with this long queue with tuifly from Stuttgart.

In Philippines NAIA terminal 1 I had to deal for a Qatar Airways flight queue for more than 3 hours...

Not acceptable at all. After borading, the whole service was great :)
If you're at the check-in 3 hours before boarding and they leave without you just because they are understaffed it's the airline's fault.
I would demand a full refund and then take another airline.
At good airports the staff walk down the queue and ask if there are any passengers for the flight which is about to board and they take you to the counter.

Es posible, sin justificar el evento, que por la pandemia se despidió gente y no hubo suficiente personal para el pre chequeo y/o posible acumulación de vuelos; el desayuno se veía delicioso y nutritivo, buenas vistas panorámicas, excelente aterrizaje. El Cóndor es el ave emblemática de mi país Ecuador, está en su escudo. Que bueno ver que haya más tráfico de gente viajando, cuídate mucho.
Claro, yo diría que está claro que ese es el problema. El tema es que deberían contratar a un personal acorde a los pasajeros que vana mover. Saben perfectamente que hay unas 1.600 plaza de avión en un lapso de 30 minutos...

@@OnBoardHD de acuerdo, pero capacitar a gente nueva en el sistema informático (Amadeus u otro) toma tiempo y los antiguos pueden no estar disponibles, la variables son varias, lo que si no creo es que vuelva a suceder si son proactivos resolviendo.
La verdad es que salvo ese incidente en el aeropuerto el vuelo fue bueno. Es cierto que tienen que poner más empleados para evitar esas grandes colas y un poco más de planificación de los vuelos por parte de la compañía. Pero bueno, de todos los vídeos que he visto tuyos este es el único en que te ha pasado eso. De todas formas, hemos pasado de no volar a estar todo el día volando, con lo cual es un poco complicado administrar todos estos vuelos. El amanecer en el vuelo es una pasada¡¡ Mi querida Mallorca, tan bonita como siempre¡ Ojalá ya se recupere totalmente los viajes en avión¡¡ No podemos estar sin ver ese maravilloso cielo y el mar .
Es correcto. En más de 800 vuelos que he hecho, nunca me había encontrado un espectáculo de este estilo, por suerte...

Nice one! Lot's of German planes on Mallorca. But then again, it seems like Covid skipped the Germans... ;-) I am always a little surprised to see how close airports are in neighbouring countries and how many are connected with one and other by air even if they are only a few kilometers apart. But 180 kms??? DUDE!!! driving a bicycle that distance is even quicker than checking in...

It's because of the connecting passengers to long-haul flights.
I guess nobody is just flying that route and staying in Frankfurt :)
In addition, there is a high speed ICE train connection between Düsseldorf and Frankfurt, in only 1:35 h. The train stops also at Frankfurt Airport, which is reached within 1:25h. And here comes the trick: Lufthansa offers train tickets from EVERY German city to their airports. So I really don't get the point of this flight
