I was hoping that the ToD campaign would be like The Warden & The Paunch where Elspeth prepares to defend Nuln while Tamurkhan prepares to siege it, with the Siege of Nuln being the final battle. I guess Malakai would be a more independent campaign but his final battle could be to stop Tamurkhan before he even gets to Nuln.
Still think the Knights of Morr should have been changed to the new Empire calvary unit, just because it would synergize with their battle effect more.
If you try this as the stand alone battle from the main menu, There's a lot more units in the front right there including several additional units of stone trolls, hag witch troll, lord on a wyvern and stand alone wyverns and they're immediately reinforced by armored squig riders that rush your ranged units and they give you a trash bag army and some how Elspeth is made of wet paper but is supposed to be level 40. What level 40 legendary lord doesn't have any decent armor or survivability stats? some of these battles feel like shit in their design.
Interesting. So, all LLs have they own goals. This ending cinematic feel very nostalgic, it reminds me King Arthur 2: the role-play wargame main menu and english red dragon. That game was the 2-d spiritual ancestor of total war: warhammer series, featuring magic and flyer units mechanics, including weakness to arrows, single-entity monsters et.c., the firs tone being warhammer: mark of chaos (2006). This might seem daft but I can’t FIND the war boss during the fight to kill him 😂 - also is anyone else getting bored of the fact we have to run around with characters rather than armies. Who the feck has the time to learn all there abilities etc. - what was wrong with having actual armies?

Same
To make the final battle in Nuln, you first need to fix the sieges and create a unique Nuln map like Tor Уvress. I think they had other priorities.
Same here, kind of disappointing. The other mechanics are great, but having a final battle would be perfect for the story.
It's crazy to me that your battle here has like half the amount of units I had.

How come your battle has half as many enemies? The first army that came at me at 2 giants and like 4-5 wyverns and 4+ trolls
I love how they force us to use army’s of just hero’s, it’s like they don’t want us to have actual army’s lmao
True feels more like you're playing a whole DOTA team by your self lol.

ALL WILL MEET MORR IN TIME

No Siege of Nuln? Disappointing
