Seeing the beautiful lion sitting there with the wind blowing through his mane is a wonderful moment. He is just soaking in the feeling of the wind. The earth. The sunshine. The fresh air. This is what he was born to feel.
You put that perfectly.
It really uplifts me when I see animals released into a much better environment. Of course they can never be released into the wild but they have the next best thing.
Physically they look better but they’re eyes tell a different story..😤😪🙏🏽❤️💪🏽
That will change. They just need a little time.
Good to see them lying all over the ground to absorb as much of the earth's energy as they can. The sun and wind must feel magical for them. Thank you for giving them this greatest opportunity and necessity to their well being.

My heart is filled with anger and hate everytime i hear of cases of heartless cruelty towards these big cats. The culprits bring out the worst in me. Horrible thoughts cross my mind.

Its so wonderful to see these animals finally relaxed, content and at peace, that African hot wind must feel so good on their skin after spending years in cold concrete cages and now they have the right diet and a decent amount of food, what a difference a few days makes.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I am so happy they are out doors to feel the wind through their hair! There should be more inspectors for animals that need help like these two that are honest and not paid under the table so to speak! How many other animals are in terrible situations as well?

Yes there is always the pain and sadness. I love all these animals. I wish in my life I had the privilege that some people have to be soo near them and look after them try to keep them safe. Care for their health. Save them. The list is endless

That is so cool, these Lions now have a chance to survive with some happiness and actually live their lives rather than survive only for others to profit from them, one day mankind will wake up to the pain and destruction we are causing animals, I just hope enough people jump on board to help these great organisations helping the animals. They must relearn how to live..maybe then they will be happy. The acclimation also takes time. They were in a severe prison and now it’s their time to slowly take in their new found freedom. Poor babies. People can be so harmful. Thank you for stepping in. You are all heroes to correct the wrong done to these magnificent lions!

They all look so "at peace" and not nervous or agitated! I felt that the background music was a bit to solemn for the video, though. Should have chosen something less somber and a little more uplifting. But everyone us a critic, right?

Thank you for rescuing these beautiful majestic animals. You have done wonderful works. Some ideas to make them really happy: a big in-ground water pool, some big boxes (all cats love boxes), and some catnip (ok this one is kidding).

That cannot happen until their natural habitat is protected. Otherwise, they are subject to poaching and lack of prey. Factor in that no wild animal born in captivity can be returned to the wild. This is why most breeding programs just perpetuate the problem, especially the schemes of pay-to-pet tiger cubs and lion cubs. So much more needs to be done. And now, any progress that has been made for animal welfare has been destroyed by the Trump administration.
I understand the process of the breeding etc. And I Agree that there needs much work to be done. 👍
Elizabeth M Can you please explain what the Trump admin has done so I can write him to protest. I've read nothing about this anywhere and I read a lot of news. Don't watch much because news anchors are all about their popularity, not about reporting the news in an unbiased way.
Deemaree Dubois, The USDA has removed inspection reports and other information from its website about the treatment of animals at thousands of research laboratories, zoos, puppy mills and other facilities. The removed documents included records of enforcement actions against violators of the Animal Welfare Act and the Horse Protection Act.
The previously available records were frequently used by animal welfare advocates to monitor government regulation of animal treatment at circuses, scientific labs and zoos. Members of the public could also use the department's online database to search for information about dog breeders, as could pet stores. Seven states currently require pet stores to source puppies from breeders with clean USDA inspection reports, according to the Humane Society of the United States - a requirement that could now be impossible to meet.
Also, Trump himself has expressed his intention of dismantling the EPA, which is charged with protecting this country's natural environment, clean air, clean water, our National Parks, etc. He appointed Scott Pruitt to head the agency. Pruitt is a long-time opponent of the EPA and has sued them many times. He's received massive contributions from the fossil fuel industry. There's so much more. It's almost apocalyptic.

Another wonderful effort on behalf of these gorgeous Lions abused by wayward humans who obviously think it s ok to use/misuse a living species for their own amusement is mentally defficient in my opinion and Wonderful that Four Paws were able to give these Animals a Slice of Animal Paradise. It takes a while, especially for a mother lion to stop desperately looking and listening for her cubs after they are gone.
So happy for them. It is heartbreaking to see the lack of muscles on these wonderful 💔 animals and the severe cub deformities. They look so content to have bellies full and relaxing. They have been "waiting to exhale" all those years of stress in confinement.
