I like to look at the current speed for shifting. Think its easyer than counting or eyeballing the timing. After a few starts you will get a good feeling for it. I try to go 2nd gear when speed is around 50 kph
reaction time was bad, but you can still gain positions from this technique. If anything, it's a proof of how good the technique is. What's the point of getting a perfect reaction time but unable to gain anything at the race start?
Nice tutorial. Could you do one on braking in this game and include your settings/calibration please? When I try trailbraking, I feel like as soon as I let off the brake just a little bit it goes almost to zero.
Yup it's amazing I figured it out by complete accident about a month or 2 ago, I was surprised how much grip you get even on med's it's crazy
thanks this really helped. ive been struggling with these starts instantly bogging down going from 11k revs to 0 in 0.2 seconds its crazy
This helped me gain 9 positions into T1 at Jeddah..
Cheers!
Glad i could help
Earned a sub, thanks bud
Race starts is pretty damn Easy in the dry on this gsme

I’ve learnt to go to 100% and drop down to probably 10% and slowly go up from there when the lights go out and I get godly starts that way
I am going 70-80, drop down to 50 and go again to 90 in 2nd gear
Amazing grip
@@factacts_ist_scheie8469 same on 100 down to 10-20
I'm going 100 to 40 and since I use a controller I'm able to tell when there's wheelspin
So as soon as it stops I slowly go back to 100
@@idki923 yeah I can tell when there is no wheel spin and I’m on a controller it’s crazy how you can just sense it
bros reaction time💀

8300 RPM, the controller vibratation intensity increases, indicating the ideal RPM. Never reach blue RPM until 3rd gear. That's a perfect start.
Just do a full send on an immediate 3rd gear shift
No. Optimal rpm is from 8000 to 9500 😊
10500-11000. 9500 too low
wow

If you use a Logitech g29, I changed my brake to my clutch. Soooo much smoother and controlled
What are those camera settings?
Asking for a friend
Handy video dude👍
Does this apply to all traction settings?
for off traction only sir
@@AzwanJuperi cheers dude 👍
njir so the game lied to me. It told me to maintain the "optimal" rpm at 8500
Can someone please tell me what the yellow meter between the acceleration and braking gauges is? Thank you
RS for overtaking
@@Zfra_sium Ok, thank you. I still have all of that stuff set to auto since I'm totally new to the game and still trying to figure out what's what.
What track is this?
Spain
I hate that ding
me too🤣
i found that this is hard to do on a keyboard. The programmers for F1 are total shit. dirt rally has this type of system properly implemented.
